What is happening to Britain’s horse-chestnut trees? Since 2002 Britain’s conker trees have been under attack from a non-native moth – and you can help scientists monitor what’s happening. The LeafWatch app shows you how to identify affected trees and enables you to submit your geo-located leaf photos. This data will show our scientists where the moth is present within the UK today.

Installed it but could not register - it refuses to take details. Presumably something wrong with password - tried a number of different ones but no luck.

I can't even register to start using the app! It keeps coming up with an error but it doesn't tell you what the problem is so that you can fix it.

Used to use this app on my Samsung galaxy s2 and it worked okay. Now upgraded to an S5 and the app opens with text input boxes and cancel or okay buttons and doesn't work. I'm using Android 4.4.2. Can the app be fixed?

Used the paper based forms for the earlier foresty research project but another easy and wonderful use for smart phones. Enables initial data capture for studies & research to be effective & efficient to track desiese & arboricultural problems with gps & new mapping tech making comparison and evaluation easier freeing up time to conclusions. Go back 50 yrs, D. Elm. D? Could success of Brighton Council have been repeated around the country. I'm sure mobiles will be invaluable in future Arb. Research.

An excellent way tto help add data. Smooth simple UI all we need now is a tree surveying app in a similar format. Cheers
