I tuned the colour and brightness levels on my Samsung TV with the room brightly lit using this app via Chromecast as THX won't run from my Moto G. It worked quite well and there is an improvement over the standard TV setting afterwards.

Straightforward app. No permissions required. Doesn't ask you to purchase an upgraded app for tablets like others. Allows testing of the full screen including the soft button area. Can't believe this is free. I will continue to support this developer. Thanks :)

Missing gamma test, which would be nice for seeing how well calibrated displays were to sRGB out of the factory.

I have found a problem in my device's screen using this app. There appears a vertical line on my oneplus one handset from top to bottom when I see horizontal resolution (2 pixels) or horizontal resolution (3 pixels) image. However, it doesn't show up on horizontal (1 pixels) image or on any tests or images. Can anyone help me identify what's wrong with the screen of my device? And how to resolve the same. Thanks in advance.

Works perfectly, provides a great array of test patterns, and requires no special permissions. It even has brief descriptions of how to use each test pattern. I successfully used this app to calibrate my old Sony HD CRT, just hooked my phone up to the TV using an HDMI cable.

Perfect for what it does, and in its current version, no advertising, which is Great! Hope it stay's that way. Highly recommend.

I wanted to see just how good my Note 4's 1440x2560 display was, I wanted to see if I could see the individual pixels. This app was perfect for that - it live renders vectors (meaning we're not using pre-made bitmaps here) of anything you want, whether it be checkerboard or vertical lines or moire pattern tests, at the maximum resolution of your device. The verdict? No, no I cannot see the individual pixels on a 520 pixel-per-inch screen.

Should add definition for rgb colors to check density on led displays.

..... going back and forth between menu and various test screens is tedious. Add a swipe to change screens.
