Tracer! Lightbox tracing app is an integrated tracing app for drawing and illustrating. This app is meant to be used with a physical paper for stencilling and drawing. you just need to select a template picture, then place a tracing paper over it and begin tracing.
The default app is a white screen with a brightness control setting. Place your reference picture over the device and begin tracing. Great for tracing drawings and fonts, making stencils, children's colouring sheets, connect-the-dot's puzzles, etc.
You use the app to search for image references from the internet (using keywords or URL links), or an image from the device storage, or take a photo from the camera. Then place a tracing paper over the image and begin copying.
There is a lock button which will maximize the drawing space, and prevent the device from sleeping.
It's really great for making stencils and to practice drawing with.
Features include: -
- a handy color adjust to change the gray-scale of the picture for better tracing contrasts.
- pan, rotate, zoom the drawing references.

- buttons to save and share the drawing references for the future.

- tracing tattoo designs and patterns
- outline tracing for children (e.g. for children colouring activity; making connect-the-dots puzzles; practise writing letters and numbers)
- base template (e.g. underlay basic perspectives for drawing architectural structures like buildings;
underlay simple shapes to draw more complicated art pieces)

Well, I wanted something that TRACES. I'm not saying that I'm not happy with this, but the name gives u false hope. I already have an app that searches for images so, people, if u want a tracing app, don't install this. It's just an app where u search and save images. Creators, if I have done something wrong, can u plz reply and tell me how to ACTUALLY TRACE from this app.

Update: thank you for fixing the "send back to the beginning of search results" bug! Updated my rating to 5 stars!! The app is awesome, I use it way more than I thought that I ever would. My only issue is that when I'm scrolling through the search results I will randomly be sent back to the beginning of the results, which is extremely annoying. This issue has caused me to stop using the app on more than a few occasions out of sheer frustration and irritation. Other than that though, it's great.

If you want to look at pictures from a database of bad drawings then this is for you! If you want to overlay an image to trace (like a real light box), then keep looking... This ain't that. I don't know what this is

Needs a few more functions, such as the ability to shrink an image (which should be default if there is a zoom function), as well as mirror options and the ability to move part of the image offscreen. It's a really nice little app, even without those additions, but if it gets an update to include the above, it'd definitely be a five star app.

Fantastic..just what I was looking for. Being able to lock the screen so the image doesn't move is fantastic...ignore some idiots on here that bludi expect it to actually trace the image for you..some ppl want everything. Absolutely brilliant for my needs...and the latest updates has fixed some bugs..I would gladly pay for this app...well done to the developer and thank you very much,its appreciated.
