科學小原子 - 原味篇

【全國首創的原住民科學教育節目「科學小原子」，首開先例從科學的角度，認識部落古文物；同時利用簡單的材料動手做科學，從製作與玩耍的過程中，瞭解科學的原理和應用，進而體認老人家的智慧，重新認識部落的文物與精神。】

　部落長老告訴過我們…如果天空出現一片紅，就代表著颱風即將來臨；蚯蚓從地洞裡爬出來或許不久後會發生地震…先祖長久下來經驗的累積，演變出台灣原住民獨有的生存法則與生活態度。

　 「科學小原子」從科學的角度出發，回到部落裡找尋先祖的生活智慧，運用實驗的技巧，重新認識我們部落的歷史脈絡與文化內涵。結合人文教育與科普教育，從存在千百年的台灣原住民族傳統文物與生活習慣中，發掘所蘊含的科學原理。透過輕鬆動手做、遊戲玩科學，由小朋友親自參與；從實作的過程中，學習傳統的智慧與生活科學的結合，不僅用手與心體認到族群文化，也見證到科學邏輯與奧秘。而部落達人傳統文物製作，可讓觀眾認識台灣原住民族保留的傳統工藝技法與材料的選擇時機及處理方式，蘊含了各族群千百年來觀察、交流的心得與生活科學原理的應用。
