齋明別苑

國定三級古蹟齋明寺，安奉著南海普陀山請回的觀音菩聖像，一百六十多年來，不管時代如何變遷，始終矗立大漢溪左岸，照看擾攘世間，撫慰人心。

齋明寺第六任住持江會觀居士，為使古寺能傳薪與創新，力邀法鼓山承接齋明寺法務，並於一九九九年，由聖嚴法師接任第七任住持，成為法鼓山重要的道場。

有感於齋明寺為古蹟景觀，道場擴建不易，為能接引更多民眾體驗佛法妙用，齋明別苑於是在桃園市區誕生。
