104年是臺東大學校園建設的里程碑，歷經十年建設與完整搬遷，我們很高興以嶄新的知本校園，迎接您的大學旅程。期望在鏡心湖畔、在如茵綠草為屋脊的圖書資訊館、運健設施完善的學生活動中心暨綜合體育館、風格別具的學院建築群、學生宿舍、以及餐飲中心，都有您歡喜學習、靜享生活的身影。我們有群山與大海守護的校園；而朗朗的藍色天空下，整個臺東的山林、海洋、與豐沃的自然人文資源，都是學習的課堂。願青春歲月的篇章，有土地的溫度、有太平洋的風、有滿天星光、也有雨過天青的彩虹。

104 years is a milestone in Taitung University Campus, after decades of construction and complete the relocation, we are pleased with a new Chihpen campus, meet your college journey. Mirror Lake in the heart of expectation in the green grass of the roof of Library and Information Center, transport and health facilities of student activity center cum gymnasium, unique style of college buildings, dormitories and dining center, has your joy of learning , enjoy the quiet life figure. We have the mountains and the sea guardian campus; while reciting under blue sky, the entire Taitung mountains, ocean, and natural and cultural resources, fertile, are learning in the classroom. Willing youth chapter, with a temperature of land, the wind of the Pacific, there are stars of light, but also the worst of the rainbow.


Whether you will be studying why the department, in addition to basic literacy professional school door, cross-border thinking and Multiple Perspectives are more contemporary needs. Therefore, we carefully designed a basic education and core thinking of general education, as well as by professional needs a "modular curriculum" to provide more flexible enrollment pipeline to help you explore the interdisciplinary core knowledge, find the learning objectives to discover their own potential and sense of fun! Classroom, you have the opportunity and the mind come from different backgrounds and areas of know each other meet, I hope you learn to appreciate, learn to listen, learn to express, learn to love.
