QuickMark is a mobile barcode scanner app that allows auto-scanning of multiple barcode formats from your phone. (Quick Code, QR Code, Data Matrix, EAN 8/13, Code39, Code128)
Use mobile barcodes to access web links, add contacts, navigate maps, and much more! Works with QuickMark's free Chrome browser extension!
IMPORTANT:
This version uses less permissions than the full version so you will NOT be able to share address book contacts or bookmarks via QR Codes.

Why does the app require permissions for...
Network State
Required for the ad networks we are using.
Write Contacts
When you scan someone's business card QR Code, you want to save it to your phone right away, and our app can do that. With your permission, of course.
Write to External Storage
Some users have wanted to share the QR Codes generated from our app with others, which is why we need a place to store the image.

I REALLY appreciate the clear description of how app permissions are used, and two version of the app based on one's willingness to accept more or less permissions. Hoping they can fix the web page scan on the GNex, and maybe add business card scanning in the future. More stars as it improves! The little voice announcing the test scan I did almost made me jump out of my chair! Unexpected, too funny! ADS

Since google goggles can do one at a time free too, I don't need an extra ap, with a higher error rate on code scanning. It's a nice idea though (if it exported).
