Learn Chinese Characters

I can't connect to network so the app doesn't work too well. One star. And to the people complaining about the "scantily dressed women", just stop. It is a stock photo and I have seen much worse in any department store that sells bra's and underwear. Maybe we should label Walmart as an adult only store because they sell panties. Absolutely ridiculous.

It is a good app but the one problem is that I read the comment at the top of the reviews and they said that you used an inappropriate photo for woman. I was shure you changed it but sad to see it in the slides and still inside the app. I am a kid and i was getting this to communicate with my classmate who speaks Chinese and no english. If you are not going to change that picture then make sure you put for mature ages or something somewhere. A woman in underwear and a bra is not appropriate for children.

Everything is associated to an image. The categories are short, to the point and manageable. The user doesn't get drown in thousands of boring flashcards, Pictures and the layout help the user to focus on one hanzi at a time and remember it better. I would like some pronunciation features but I don't mind much as I usually need to study in silence (and no earphones on). If there were short phrases for each hanzi I'd give 5 stars.

I can't use the app, i downloaded this app about a week ago and when I open it and try to select a character I keep getting "cannot connect to Network." I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but for some reason it just isn't working.

As a newbie its really handy to be able to hear the pronouciations so clearly. I would give this app 5 stars if it had an animation or such to show the order of how the character is written.

This application works beautifully; the corresponding pictures explain the chinese characters very well. I hope this product updates to include more characters in the near future!

I was happy find this app teaching traditional chinese characters. That is also my basic when I learned in my hometown when I was teenager. I'm so happy when I found this app. But so sad the pronunciation is not working when I click on that. Always tell can't connected to the internet. But my internet has no problem. I still can watch youtube on my phone. I don't know why.

I can't connect to the network on this app so I can't really do much on the app. Also could you change the image for woman. It's a bit disrespectful, rude, and offensive to show that as the picture. Could you please change.

Don't know why, but I can't connect to the network despite my data and Internet working without any problems. Will change review when this problem is addressed.

It keeps saying that it cannot connect to the network.

Needs a drawing feature. Otherwise it's not very helpful.

Very interesting pictures to accompany each character. Suggest using simplified Chinese or at least have an option for it. Overall it is still a very useful app.

Cannot connect to network...so how did I load the app? Learned nothing, uninstalled within 5 minutes.

doesn't work - all I get is 'Can't connect to Network', so I can't actually practice anything. I'll change the rating as soon as I can connect to the network.

Excuse me, my 9-year-old son pointed out to me that the photo used for "woman" is rather scantily dressed. Besides being not age-appropriate (I'm sure many children use this app), Thinking deeper, I think the photo presented "woman" as a sex object. Please consider changing the photo.

Really entertaining. My favourite picture is "military". Perfectly suits the chineese character.Very useful app.Loved to see more characters.:)

I can study more about traditional characters... Perhaps it can be improved by showing simplified characters too... Sangat seronok!

people should read the description before they install the app. it is design to let people practice traditional Chinese. in my opinion, a better form of Chinese writing.

Should have the option to switch between traditional and simplified Chinese! Other than that, great app!

This is just great, a friend is teaching me using whatsapp but time zone isn't fair this is a big leap. Thanks, wish I could help with the audio to make it dope.

I love how this app uses pictures to teach you traditional characters. But it's no use to me since I'm learning simplified Chinese. Make a simplified version, and I'll redownload :)

Everything about this app is good, simple yet effective interface, simple background (which promotes learning)... However, Simplified Chinese is used more often in the common world. It would be good if Simplified Chinese characters would be added as well.
