New app looks great, clean and easy to use. Ads aren't intrusive.

The weather man is useless. Tried using My Location, but its not where I am, put in post code and it won't recognise it.

I used this every day to check weather forecast, since update unable to get local weather so I am uninstalling app

New update worked for 1 day and now it's not loading anything, very poor after saying it's new update would be faster.

Used to be great. .simple.. easy... then the recent update and it's rubbish!!

The fonts are simply too small. I have system fonts set to maximum and a third party large font app set to max but they simply have no effect on this app. BBC and Sky both have a text size option. Time you did the same. UPDATE Latest update makes app simply unusable. Arthritis stope me using my phone in portrait mode so until you give some accessibility options I can't use it. Why on earth didn't you read the comments on the Sky news site first?update still useless. Not usable in landscape mode. You really should not discriminate against the disabled. Update May 17 :Still no facility to use in landscape Why no accessibility options. Do you really hate me disabled so much?

I thought I'd give it a go after 3 years.. Still no recent updates. Exactly the same as 7 hours ago. Some news days old. Ah well, adios STV news. Deleting ASAP.

Works fine never had any problems using this app nor has anyone I know who has it. Shame some people on here try to slate it when it works fine. Worth the download and does send breaking news to ur phone. Well done to the folks at stv for this cracking app.

Very poor for what could be Scotlands premier news organisation, its not like your up against much with the uber unionist BBC. Gives massive news priority to English based political parties viewpoints, very biased, rest of news extremely parochial. Its like they do the absolute bare minimum effort to cover stories and inform folks, or like the awfull BBC not cover stories or inform at all.

Good to have Scottish news but the alert asking for location each time is annoying and pointless. It would also be good to be able to order sections and maybe remove some.

Am I going to be able to watch the Bay City Rollers in America they do have other fans Not Just in Scotland

Had installed it for Scottish local weather which should be much more accurate than BBC or others. Always "Weather not available" Such a disappointment. Also no way to report problem as that doesn't work either.

It's OK regarding local news weather am not too fussed about, if I want to know what the weathers like then al look out of the window....

Downloaded for the weather but there is no weather in this app. Not good as the advert on tv says it has weather.

How about featuring news stories which don't include drugs alcohol and other crime related subject matter to even things up?

Love the app so simple and so easy can read everything brilliantly

Would be 5 star if the adverts, especially the ones that flash at high speed, were moved to the bottom. Instead of flashing over the headlines. Also, no search facility?

I have tried the update with international news, 1st class, but every two hours or so i hear stv news signature tune running through my phone, fix this and the app will be flawless

Had it on the iPhone before I switched to Android and I used this app every day but now I don't use it at all. Doesn't fit properly, VERY rough around the edges, horrible to use and overall just a very poor app. UPDATE on 17/03/2016: INFINITELY better! It's been a long time coming but the new version of the app is smooth, slick and looks great. Welcome back to my phone STV News :)
