Olympics on SKY

Skips and freezes continuously and is. painful to watch, if it even loads

How can a company as big as sky create something so useless. I'm on ultrafast fibre but it's totally unresponsive . Another fail by sky

Loving the Sky Olympics app, can watch TV and iPad at same time, fantastic. Also able to catch up with all events on demand in morning. Find it very easy to use. Brilliant! Would give it ten stars if I could.

Very clunky and found it really difficult for an on demand app to follow the events new Zealanders were in. For example this morning I wanted to watch the full Image Drysdale race. No where to be found.

It's a tad pointless installing, as it takes so long to load (that's if it manages to, most times I just hey a green loading circle endlessly circling) that the event you've been notified about has finished.

Slow to load or doesn't load, UI ugly. This is a paid service, stop showing me ads.

Was working OK until today, when loading times became increasingly long... Even when it does work, it's still fill of weird problems

So slow to open, and doesn't remember login details. Hope it gets an update before the games finish!!

Cant sign in..not same as Sky Go login details? Also sits spining round and round...uninstalling now

Just installed and watched two semi finals of the mens 200 on TV and still not loaded. Poo!!

Never opens. Typical half arsed effort from sky.

Just like the soccer world cup and the Americas cup, sky fails with online coverage. Is sky New Zealand's worst media company? Can't think of a worse one. How do they get away with breaching contractual obligations with customers continually? It's time sports of national significance were taken away from this b grade media company.

Can't connect to servers and when I'm able to login which works on other Sky apps successfully fails with an error. I suggest you seriously increase your number of servers and fix your login handling. Also does not appear to support Chromecast.

As always with Sky, when you need it to work, it won't. Same with SkyGo app. They charge a premium but cannot deliver. It NEVER works when there is a big sports event.

For the inevitable rain fade on the telly. Nearly died of old age waiting for it to load. Gave up and uninstalled it like others. Galaxy Note 4.

...like all the other Sky products - USELESS. I want to know what time approximately NZ is competing. Not the whole duration of the event. Uninstalling.

Not very audible however, which is kinda stupid. Admittedly only tried the table tennis but even so. And how the hell can this apps coverage be ahead of skygos coverage if its both supposed to b "live"?

It took a little getting used to the navigation and colour coding. The video quality is great. Frustrating that the commentary is about 10 secs ahead of video and the option to disable commentary does nothing

The quality is pretty good, but that's about the only positive. It takes a long time to load, the stats, results and lineup data is either missing or out of sync most of the time, The ads get a bit annoying when you are switching between events. But the worst thing about it is that the commentary is about 5-10 seconds ahead of the action. It's the ultimate in terms of spoilers. The "No commentary" toggle doesn't even work. Quite an amateur effort here by Sky.

Why did you even bother spending money on what could be a great app if you can't even sign in? The app has potential of being great but it just doesn't even work. Worse than sky go.

Can watch live or replays across all sports and events whenever and wherever. Have a look at medal table, athletes, counties etc. It's even better than the TV coverage so should be available on the sky box too. Such a brilliant app. Easy to use and in HD. I really can't say enough about how good it is. Only complaint is it's not available for sky sport all the time!

when it takes longer for the app to load than it takes for an olympic rowing final to run its pretty frustrating! The log in page won't open either most of the time so even if the app does load to the home page, I can't watch anything live due to not being able to log in!! When everything does work it is handy

I have never left a bad rating. But had to make an exception for this shocker! If only there was a ZERO STAR rating. Waste of time! Repeatedly advertised during tv screenings yet after downloading, several resets and 35 mins later, it didn't even load! Obviously Sky isn't conducting any tests whatsoever. Save some frustration and don't download! Uninstalling immediately!

Almost missed events trying to repeatedly log in. Commentators are 10secs ahead with the commentary on/off button not even working. So if there's a ten second race, you already know the winner before the gun goes.

Makes phone slow down so much when notifications come through. Need to log in multiple times to watch live streaming to get it to work. Cycling sprint was finished by the time I got it to go. Not worth it, but better than Sky Go apparently.

Loads then freezes. Can't access sky go Olympics on Web browser. I hope sky doesn't get this contract ever again! Worst display of Olympics to date!

The app itself is patchy at best. Doesn't let me log in, but doesn't let me watch anything without logging in. When I try to load the log in page, it keeps going back to the home page telling me i need to log in. Also worried about the permissions the app 'needs'. Why does it need full access to my contacts, my call data (including who I'm talking to) and all media on my phone. Sort it out sky.

The load time was annoying but figured out you can just push the home button on your phone and then go back into the app and it loads fine. Not ideal but works great after that!

Sends me notifications when our athletes are competing but takes forever to load or won't at all. Medal table is handy, WHEN it works.
