Freeview TV Guide

Use this app a lot. Have a motor home and like to know what is on the tele without having to turn the tele on. Use the alarm system to inform me about the program start time. Needs to be updated though. Last update 2013. Too long ago. Having issues as of April 2017. Down grade to 3 stars until fixed. Updated 2/4/17 and working well. Thanks for taking note of our problems and responding. Back to 5 stars.

Great concept for freeview watching here in NZ. But room for improvement. Cannot read show titles on the guide with the way it's setup. Need to set it up so titles appear on two or more lines instead of just one where virtually every single title is incomplete (!). Also, future update to also select one channel at a time would make it infinitely more useable :-)

Does this app work at all? I installed it today, and every time I've tried it, it reports app not working. After 3 days of trying it without success, I finally got it working by uninstalling it then reinstalling it.

Wastes screen space. Minimal functionality. Never caches. Downloads again after task switch. Would use any alternative but Freeview doesn't want any competition.

Can't get it to show proper NZ times. My phone is set correctly to NZ time. Trying to uninstal app then reinstall but it's taken ages so far - still not uninstalling

I have been using the app for a short while now and its been working well....until today. Everytime I opened up the app, it would say "App Not Working Properly" then it would close. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times. Then I chose Freeview HD as well as Freeview Satellite, but after I've chosen my region, a little box pops up saying, "Downloading Data" but immdiately, the app fails and closes. How can this be fixed? Or is there a support team I can talk to resolve this problem? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Very slow to receive data to view. Time line way too compressed to view the programs below. Unpleasant interface. Not even worth one star.

App was reasonable until it stopped working. I uninstalled it and did a fresh installation and it still doesn't work.

Far too often it hangs on downloading data. Pretty much unusable

This app is very slow in loading it's content it uses heaps of megga bite which is important for the consumer The reason it is so slow is because the provider who supplies the app is wanting to make as much money as possible out of it by slowing down your internet connection is it hacking or milking as much as they can out of it

Won't even open. Says there's a problem and crashes every time...

Used to work ok, but recently doesn't work at all on my tablet

Just a single function tv guide which is on my TV... can't book programs or cast use any of the FreeviewPlus features.

App doesn't work for my Galaxy S6.

The show times are 30 minutes out. Really annoying

can't hide channels I never watch, and can't see program title without clicking on it

After latest update: downloading data... And nothing else. Have to force close

Had this app for about 6 months and it only works every one in ten times.

When it works it does its job but probably 2 out of 3 times it just says downloading data and never comes up with anything. Quitr frustrating

Keep on telling me that the app is not working properly after the last update. I have been using it for a long time and has had no problem until few days ago. Reinstall the app, still the same problem. Please fix. Thanks

Would be nice if this app was a stable build but it's not. I am constantly experiencing an "app not working properly" screen. I have to resort to using your online Web page to access the freeview guide. Makes your app redundant!!

It was working fine for the last year or so and 2 days ago it says there is a error and now won't work. Even though I took it off and reinstalled. Disappointing!

Not a fan of the interface, as mentioned by other users, it doesn't follow android guidelines. I developed an android application with a simple interface, but was requested by Freeview NZ to take it down. Please redesign the application. :)

..Skytv gives more channel choice ... rip off prices, of course....way past the time for NZ State tv to get its tv interesting, but then does have shares in Skytv ..

So user un-friendly on Android. I genuinely can't think of anything positive to say, it's truely awful. Terrible design.

The UI of this piece of crap is one of the most ugly and unusable UI's I have seen in a long time. I does not follow android guidelines and is a prime example of how not to design an application.Even a beginner in app development could program a better UI.Disgusting.Freeview, fire the person responsible for this abomination and hire a decent android dev.

Needs an option to display less times of the day on the screen to be able to fit in full titles. Often can only see the first few letters of a title, so have to go through clicking on each programme to see what it is.

Only my freeview can work on rabbits ears because i don't have aerial or sky. So don't know if it is satellite or hd?

Would be a useful tool to have yet it doesn't load to show the guide, kinda pointless

Needs a way better layout.
