Vodafone TV (NZ)

Handy app that allows recording and deleting of programmes. Works quite well for that. BUT it keeps crashing, usually once or twice every time it's used. It needs to be much more stable, and could have added functionality to allow recorded programmes to be played from the app, ie, a basic remote control function.

I've sent in a few crash reports, but have not heard anything back. This app was great, now it is so unreliable. Please fix major bugs!

Great to be able to set programs to record remotely. However search only returns Sky results, not NZ Freeview, and titles beginning with, not including, the word ('Rio' finds the opening ceremony but 'opening' doesn't, and doesn't return the replay showing on Prime here.) And Favourites crashes on any day other than today. Please fix. Portrait only mode & too much white space limits how much you can see at a time - looks nice but impractical to use.

I thought I HATED the Sky TV decoder but ths thing is something else. Takes about 3 seconds to recognise that a button has been pressed. Takes forever to delete something. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC

The concept of the app is great, nice to be able to have control of recordings while away from home. However delivery is terrible. The app is constantly crashing and shutting down. . . And when it does work it so so sensitive that I drives you nuts trying to navigate the guide. Pretty disappointing from a company that says they are at the top of the tech game in nz

Pretty average when I called Vodafone for over 1hr! Not one of the staff knew an app existed! Doesn't work to schedule recordings planner doesn't work guide is very difficult to use & doesn't rotate a search would be good and plug in for tvnz & tv3 on demand would be cool

Rubbish app. Crashes multiple times every time I try to use the app, the search function only works occasionally and can't scroll the guide from one day to the next. So clumsy to impossible to find the programme you're after.

App is like the Vodafone tv decoder slow, hard to use. Each days guide doesn't scroll onto the next. You can't just choose a single channel to view by its self. App needs to do everything the sky tv app does.

App keeps crashing and us very slow. Does not allow landscape viewing.

Does the job, but with some really annoying UX - Scrolling needs to be either up and down or left and right (not diagonally). When I scroll to 12pm it stops, when I press for the next day, it jumps 24 hours, it should just jump to the next day (00:01), not 24 hours, I want to see whats playing next.

Planner says unavailable and channels show in incorrect places

Used to be good but more often than not I get a message that it has stopped. Fix this so I can check programs and record remotely and I will up the rating.

Fast. But doesnt show current rec from the tbox. 8/2016 - a year and a bit later, still doesnt show recordings set from the TBox :-(

Really useful when works but too often the guide won't work.

For the love of god fix this app already!

Never shows the correct information for Sky Sport 2 days running. Shows Trackside on Sport 1. Only shows 1 week ahead. Easier to select record (If it shows the programme) than the Sky app. .....Would really like to know when Vodafone T V will actually synchronise the programme guide with what's on Sky Sport?

Does not show the correct info for sky sports channels? Which defeats the purpose when trying to record something....

it's so much faster than doing it on the decoder, love it! Channels I don't have are greyed out, all good

I love the fact that you can delete recorded programmes from the app. It would be amazing if the percentage free on hard drive was shown, so you can manage remotely if away on holiday!

Extremely frustrating for a couple of occasions when unable to record accurately due to wrong programme information on the app's TV guide. It is different from what appears on the Vodafone TV guide on the website. It really needs to be sync with the correct programmes.

This app does do what it says - allows the user to view the programme guide and record shows on their phone or tablet. It does a very poor job of it. It forces the UI to portrait, but does not show enough of the guide to be useful. Allowing auto-rotate would help this. When selecting an episode or series to record there's no feedback to let you know that it has worked. You have to go into the planner each time to see if it worked. Nice try, but it really needs work.

When in favourites and I check information on a program it then shows all programs under favourites. I have to select all programs and then favourites again to see my selected favourite channels and of course start over again with search.

I run Nexus 7 tablet and Nexus 4 phone. Works fine on the Nexus 7 but since Nexus 4 has been updated to lollipop it no longer works on there. Needs a fixing as was handy when out and about.

Force closes as soon as I try to open it.

Just what I've been wanting. Now I can record my program when I'm not at home

Can now do series link! Just need to be able to delete scheduled recordings that you don't want anymore.

Channel 51 sport 1 shows there is horse racing on tomorrow when in fact the All Blacks are playing Samoa. Fundamental error on an important channel

Did work OK, was sensitive to setting recording times, now does work.

It's a bit slow sending the request but still does the trick. I'd also like to see an app that can control live TV.

Crashes on startup. Tried installing a number of times

It crashes immediately on latest android. I see from reviews below that you have known of this issue for quite some time. Do you have a time frame on the release of the update to fix this issue?

Firstly I'd like thank Vodafone for my free STB and this free app! But please add the ability to search and delete scheduled recordings in a future update. Also everything is to big on my S5, feels like font is sized for old people. Would also like to use it in portrait orientation and have smaller channel icons.
