A lot of nice options. Worth trying for sure. For improvements I would say invest in making the UI nicer looking. Add more polish it. Make the graphics nicer looking. About the battery usage. These types of applications always use a lot of power. If your going to be using this or any like it expect that. I would take a spare battery or use the Razor Maxx.

Плюсы: красивые переходы, есть измерение расстояния и азимута между произвольными точками на карте, полноэкранный компас с отображением направления на цель и прочими данными путевого компьютера, быстрая смена отображения текущих координат и адреса. Демоверсия платной "Tracky GPS navigation +compass", надписи на карте при 342 PPI слишком мелкие, нет поворота карты (только сдвиг и масштабирование), машинный перевод на русский, нет русских POI. "Search for photos of Panoramio" - брехня, нет такого.
