Misyonumuz

Türkiye'de, Acil Tıp Sistemi içinde yer alan konularda - acil tıp uzmanlığı, acil servisler, hastane öncesi acil yardım, ilkyardım, afet organizasyonu - projeler üretmek ve bu sistemin gelişmesine destek olmaktır.

Vizyonumuz

Acil Tıp Sisteminin tüm Türkiye'de gelişmesini sağlayarak dünyada önder ve örnek kuruluş olmaktır.

Kuruluş Amaçları

* Acil Tıp Uzmanlığı eğitim standartlarını oluşturmak ve bunları en yüksek seviyeye çıkarmak.

* Acil hekimlerini, uzmanlık ve mezuniyet sonrası eğitimine teşvik etmek ve eğitimin standartlarını belirlemek,

* Tüm hekimlerin ve tıp öğrencilerinin temel acil tıp konularında eğitim almalarını teşvik etmek ve eğitimin standartlarını belirlemek,

* Acil sağlık hizmetlerinin sosyal ve ekonomik yönlerini değerlendirmek,

* Halkı acil tıp hizmetleri konusunda bilinçlendirmek (poster, seminer, broşür, radyo, gazete, dergi, televizyon vs.),

* Acil tıp ile ilgili yapılacak temel ve klinik araştırmaları teşvik etmek, desteklemek,

* Acil hekimlerinin hem kamuda hem de özel olarak çalışabilmelerini teşvik etmek,

* Acil hekimlerinin hem akademik kuruluşlarda hem de bilimsel/tıbbi kuruluşlarda temsil edilmelerini teşvik etmek,

* Acil hekimlerinin, hastane öncesi acil hizmetler sisteminde ve felaket afet planlamasında lider rolü oynamalarını desteklemek,

* Acil sağlık hizmeti veren kurum ve kuruluşlarda kaliteli acil sağlık hizmetleri ve hasta nakli standartlarını belirleyip aralarındaki koordinasyonunun sağlanmasını teşvik etmek,

* Acil tıp hizmetlerinde "toplam kalite" felsefesini tüm sağlık ekibine anlatılarak eğitilmelerini teşvik etmek,

* Acil servislerde çalışan hekimlerin ve personelin tıbbi bilgisini geliştirmek için sürekli eğitim programlarının uygulanmasına katkıda bulunmak,

* Emergency Medicine Specialist to create training standards and remove them to the highest level.

* Assess the social and economic aspects of emergency medical services,

* To encourage basic and clinical research to do related to emergency medicine, support,

* The emergency physicians to be able to encourage both private as public works,
