İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası

Resmi olarak 20.04.1920 yılında kurulduğu kabul edilen İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası, 1800’lü yıllardan bu yana şehrimizin esnaf, tüccar ve sanayicilerine hizmet vermektedir. Odamızın kuruluş amacı; üyelerinin müşterek ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak, mesleki faaliyetlerini kolaylaştırmak ve mesleğin genel menfaatlerine uygun olarak gelişmesini sağlamak olarak ifade edilebilmektedir. Odamız, 5174 sayılı kuruluş kanununda yazılı işleri yapmak üzere kurulmuş kamu kurumu niteliğinde tüzel kişiliğe sahip bir meslek kuruluşudur.

Odamız kuruluş gayesi gereğince açtığı eğitimler, verdiği seminer, konferans ve paneller ayrıca katılmış olduğu fuarlar ile bölgemizdeki esnaf, sanayici ve girişimcilere destek olmakta ve ticari potansiyellerini artırmaktadır.

İskenderun’un ve bölgemizin ticari yapısının ülke ekonomisine daha fazla katkı sağlar yönde şekillenmesi, işletmelerin ticari faaliyetlerini uygun koşullarda yürütebilmeleri ve karşılaştıkları sorunların çözümlenebilmesi amacıyla kurulan İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası, bugün bölgenin en önde gelen meslek kuruluşları arasında bulunmaktadır.

Odamız tarafından 2012 yılından itibaren ISO 9001:2008 Kalite Yönetim Sistemine geçilmiş ve bu sistem aktif olarak kullanılmaktadır. Odamız; ISO 9001 Kalite Belgesine ve Akreditasyon Sertifikasına sahip olup, ISO 9001 Belgesi 19.11.2016 tarihi itibariyle yenilenmiştir. Akreditasyon Sisteminin odamızda uygulanması; odamızdaki iş gücü veriminin artmasını, oda personellerinin sürekli kendilerini geliştirmesini, odamızın üye memnuniyetinin artmasını, ISO 9001 kalite standartlarına uygun hizmet verilmesini ve odamızdaki işleyişlerin daha düzenli hale gelmesini sağlamıştır. Sistemin odamızda uygulanmasıyla, odamızın üyelerinin memnuniyet dereceleri daha rasyonel standartlara göre ölçülmekte ve gerekli iyileştirmeler yapılmaktadır.

Odamızın da desteğiyle 31.03.2015 tarihinde kurulan İskenderun Teknik Üniversitesi’nin bölgemizde eğitime ve bilime sunduğu katkıya ek olarak, üniversite ve iş dünyasının entegrasyonu ve bu işbirliğinin sürdürülebilir olması, odamızın önem verdiği çalışmalar arasında yer almaktadır.

‘‘Bölge Ekonomisine Yön Veren Kuruluş’’ olarak bilinen İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası, kentte ekonomik ve sosyal birçok yatırım gerçekleştirmiştir ve gerçekleştirmeye devam edecektir. İskenderun Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası’nda;
