About ics Databridge

Transfers invitations from ICS files and similar formats in the Google Calendar.
ICS files are used for example for invitations with Lotus Notes.

Procedure:
+ If necessary, please forward the invitation to an e-mail address.
+ The open invitation email and click on the ICS attachment.
+ The fields found to be transmitted in the form of the Google calendar.

! Info!
The application is not listed in the application launcher.
Interaction with the application only via corresponding attachments.
You can remove the application as usual from the application manager.

Support:
In case of errors such as crashes or something similar, please send us an e-mail with a calendar file (*. ics, *.ifb, *.iCal, *.iFBf, ...).
In our view, is the only reason for a crash, a calendar-file, the file does not meet the specifications. We will try to fix the problem with the next version.

Known Issues:
Crashs:
* Full Day Appointments (I think it's by the Missing DTSTART-row or DTEND-row in the Calendar File)
Time / Timezone:
* Only the Date/Time Code from the DTSTART-/DTEND row
Other:
* The Sign's '<' and '>' should not be used. The Reason is, that some Calendar use HTML. This App looks for HTML-Tags and try to remove it.
* At this time only the Fields Start-Time, End-Time, Description, Location and Summary are transfered to the Calendar-form.

Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy.
Therefore the application is designed to manage without permission.

Brilliant little app that lets me take meeting requests that I send through Microsoft Outlook and put these into my Google calendar. Only thing to improve on for me would to improve way the app handles day light saving. It currently puts appointments in 1 ahead which have to be manually altered at the moment

I have started using Google Calenders more and more for work. With a long commute I often deal with emails and calender scheduling on the train. This has solved what shouldn't have been an issue with Android Gmail in the first place. This works beautifully with ICS attachments in Gmail and adds the event via the New Event interface allowing for any changes. Thank you this has greatly increased my productivity. :)

Beats all the other iCal importers with ugly UIs. This directly goes to the form to create a new event in Calendar. Now if only it would get the time zones right...

K70%
by K####:

As already said by a lot of users, the timezone is not correctly handled. But I really like the way this app works. That's why give an additional start. Please correct this.

You do nothing and it populates !! Like someone else said holy crap it WORKS!

Would not open an ICS on Nexus 4. Another similar app has without problem

This app works great imploring an event forwarded out of Outlook as ICS. It grabbed the correct timezone (my biggest beef with the first ICS app I used). It also grabbed added the body of the original event to google calendar.

K70%
by K####:

Just used it once but it imported a ton of event info, so I assume that means it's reading fields properly. Let me change the calendar. Easy.

K70%
by K####:

It assumes GMT. I just need to remember to correct the time, every time. Also adds spaces and backslashes to the text.

K70%
by K####:

Worked so seamlessly I didn't know it was there. After I installed I opened my first ics file and it immediately launched my Google calendar. Thanks!

K70%
by K####:

Works well but I can't give it a 5 until the timezone issue is worked out.

Samsung S4 locked and can't replace the Samsung calendar. Only hope to import ics files directly to Google calendar in order to get then to my moto360 was this program, right here. You saw a need and filled it. I'd give you a dollar for this.

This solves a huge problem with the android calendar by allowing me to import ICS files to Google calendar. It would be really awesome if you can add support for VCS files as well.

I get notes of events and finally looked for a way import the notes into one of my calendars. Tried one application but was not satisfied with the results. This one imported everything from the .ics file, let me edit the information in my calendar, and let me edit the date.
