About TFDocker

Tired of changing layout of your tablet's keyboard whenever you use or release your dock? Here's the solution!

Just run the service (or use the widget) and you'll be prompted whenever you need it!

This application comes AS IT IS and it DOES NOT NEED ROOT permission to run.

Due to Android Security rules, it might happen that popup does not show as soon as you release the dock, but soon after when you need to type something.

KNOWN ISSUES:
- sometimes popup shows on its own, but we're working on it

Coded and tested on ASUS Transformer Prime, but it should run on any of the Transformer tablets or even any docked tablet running Android 3.1+ and it's fully compatible with latest Jelly Bean update.

Thanks to my friend Erika for the new icon!

Like you said, "Just run the service and you'll be prompted whenever you needit". When? I've reinstall 4-5 times (including after factory reset). Service is started. Just one pop-up after install and it has done nothing. It's been more than a week. 100+ dock/undock already. EDIT ANSWER: Sorry, I didn't know there are that much different between these two. That's bad, this feature would help me so much. I dock/undock very often :(

Its freezes quite often when I remove my prime from the dock? By freeze I mean it'll pop up but I can't select any keyboard...pressing home clears it but it seems like a bug with the app.

TF-201 (Virtuous Rom) Its been driving me nuts since i got my Prime and dock, always having to go to settings and change which keyboard i wanted to use. This app is a blessing, I would even pay for this app. If you have the dock for your Transformer then you need this app. They should have made something like this part of the system. Thank you.

I use Swiftkey 3 when I am not using the hardware keyboard and I HATE that there is no shortcut to change the keyboards around. This fixes the problem by popping up the keyboard default screen either when you dock or undock your keyboard. I also find it interesting how you can choose to buy him a coffee, espresso, cappuccino, or water (not required) inside the app. I bought him a cappuccino for this great app.

... may I ask you an app? ˆ_ˆ I have an Asus Infinity, and a Swiss French phyisical keyboard. But I write also in English and Italian, apart from French. I would like to switch language (for autocorrection-prediction purposes), but keeping of course the keyboard layout (otherwise 'y' becomes 'z' and so on). Please feel free to write me personally.
