Booksy is a learning-to-read platform for young kids (4-9). It is designed from the ground up to help young children, K through 2nd grade, practice and develop their reading skills.

Booksy is at its heart a library of age appropriate level-readers. We believe kids WANT to read when to give them fascinating and interesting books. That is why we partnered with experts to create books on topics kids will love. They will not only dive into reading, but with our nonfiction series also learn. Many books are written by experts and PhDs. Beautiful full-color images and illustrations.
Common core aligned! Books on science topics, social science, math and everyday activities.
But BOOKSY is so much more. It has amazing features that make learning to read simple and fun. And, it includes powerful tools for parents and teachers to track kids' progress.
Booksy requires Android 3.0 or higher. For full functionality, it requires a microphone.
It has been optimized for most 7 and 10 inch tablets including Nexus 7 and 10.

This was a great addition to my classroom library! The ficiton and and nonfiction mix was great! My kids love the nonfiction books about animals!

Loved by my grand kids and me. But when accidentally upped reading level could not find any place in settings to reduce it back to prefered level. Fix and will up rating.

I LOVE the books. My daughter LOVES the books. But, I can't get this to sync with the regular version of the app. At first I also had a hard time with the menu tab not coming up so I could register dd as a user, and use the tracking and recording functions. It's a tab at the bottom of the page, and I had tapped on it and tried to drag it up a dozen or more times to no avail, but then my daughter got it to work. :P oh well

Love the graphics and captivating variety of leveled books! Nice to be able to record child's voice reading and let them hear their improvement in fluency and expression after repeated readings. Optional quizzes are great to check for comprehension and practice the task of test taking. Kids can work independently by having the book read to them first and/or read on their own by tapping on any word they don't know! Tipitap thought of everything! As a mother of struggling readers, GREAT BIG THANKS for this tool.
