Umass Boston Wifi Autologin

Amazing application

I am SO glad this exists! I was constantly having connection issues until I installed this. I've never had a problem with tgis app.

I've been using it for a year now and I have to say that I am very pleased with it. Very easy to use and very true to it's sole purpose. Namely making it easy for you to login to UMB's network

This is an unobtrusive app that solves a weird issue people will have connecting their smartphones to UMass Boston's WiFi. It is a shame that the university made the network so that you have to log in again every time you go to a different building. Thankfully this app does all that work for me.

Now I can walk anywhere on campus and use the internet without having to fiddle around for five minutes trying to log into the UMass system each time. Brilliant! According to my calculations this ap should save me about 25 minutes a day which I can spend doing homework instead. Thank you soooo much!

Love it, don't have to be dealing with the bad school's website log in prompt, this does it all, a must have if you're a umb student.

One question though: how do I know if my account and password is not being logged somewhere?...

This application is unfortunately necessary. Due to the horribly duct-tape-designed WiFi network of UMass Boston, students are required to use a login form every time they move to another building or log into the WiFi. This app is only necessary because of the inconvenience this imposes on tuition-paying students. This app would not be necessary if UMass Boston IT complied with the IEEE 802.1x standard, which would allow users to register their devices with the University and have them automatically gain access to the network through a standard authentication method, rather than using a network interface that is poorly made and looks incredibly unprofessional. Joseph Paul Cohen did us all a service by making an app to navigate this duct-tape ridden network for us and made the lives of students much easier.

This app is very useful, without going to any browser, and log in to student account, it automatically log in us. very easy and smooth lol

Can connect with laptop but not always with my android.

If you need help getting this app to work you can visit the Unix/Linux Computer Lab in the Computer Science department. There are many students who are mobile app entrepreneurs who can help you get it working.
