About Attendance-lecture System
Attendance come lecture adjustment system will first take attendance of teachers using either fingerprints or offline mode and then will predict the teachers who are absent. After computing the absent teachers, our application would automatically adjust lectures of absent teachers with those teachers, who are free at that particular slot in a school. The entire data of teachers like their time tables, basic information, contact details, fingerprints will be stored in cloud. After computing all the adjustments, this application will send SMS as well as ID notification about their adjustment, to the teachers, whose lectures have been adjusted in slots of absent teachers. This application will also predict number of holidays remaining (allotted to teachers per year) number of holidays used, and will remind them about their remaining allotted holidays. This application will also predict the gazette holidays and will notify the teachers about holiday and will also send SMS wishing them on famous occasions and festivals.
We have been motivated to build this project, as there is a problem regarding adjusting lectures of absent teachers manually in GOVT. HIGH SCHOOL, CHAPPAR (PATIALA). In manual system, there is a problem of manually taking attendance of teachers and then adjusting lectures of absent teachers, that is very time consuming, hence results in wastage of at least one lecture of teacher whose responsibility is to do all this task, hence results in wastage of time and is not convenient. To overcome this problem, we are proposing this application. The time wasted in manually taking attendance and adjusting lectures will be saved by using this application. This application will take attendance of teachers using fingerprint scanner or offline mode (by Headmistress), by comparing fingerprints with that of stored in cloud. Then it will compute the absent teachers and then will adjust lectures of teachers who are free at that particular slot and will be notified by sending SMS and ID notification. Hence will overcome the problem of doing work manually and saves a lot of time of teachers.
Another problem that is concerned with the teachers is that they are unable to remind their remaining holidays. This application will predict the remaining allotted holidays of teachers and notify them of this. In case a teacher has taken all the allotted holidays, this application will notify the teacher that they exceeded their allotted holidays and particular amount will be deducted from their salary.
Importance in real world:
In this competitive environment, wasting time in manually adjusting lectures of absent teachers is almost absurd. An application that automatically adjusts lectures will allow user to save his/her time and use that time in some important work such as taking lectures of a class. This application will be implemented in a government school where first lecture of a teacher gets wasted in adjusting lectures of absent teachers.
