Universal taximeter for all.
We try to take into account all the possible tariffs, different calculation methods.
It is a tool for everyone. We are not trying to teach drivers how to work, we made a tool with which you can decide how to count the price of the trip in your taxi.
In the program when you first start sewn several tariffs for example, you can change them.
The tariff consists of a minimum cost, price range, travel time, waiting. The minimum cost can include time and distance, or one of them, which will end first.
The distance and time can be considered either together or "one of", with it you can set the "minimum" speed - is the rate below which it is considered that we are on the spot. Note that the minimum speed affects the joint count (when the speed is higher, the time does not count), so if you need to time and distance have always thought that place infinity.
The cost of kilometers and minutes can be set step by step, for example, from the start the kilometer costs $3, and after the 5th kilometer by $2.
At the end of the trip is given a detailed account of what is the price and can show the client what he pays as much.
You can configure additional services, which are paid by "piece" and on track to activate them. At the start as well as a tariff is a little list for example.

Design can be customized - there skins (color themes), and font size.
Available widget that appears on the special button when the taximeter is running and hanging on top of other windows. Location of the widget can be set - just drag it to the right place.
There are shifts. Shift starts automatically with the start of the trip, and ends on the button.

Function OR works and then stop to working . Measuring distance is accurate. But if i use Complex OR method includes 1 km and 5 min. if i press start idle works momently,so i set 5 free minutes, but there is problem after 1 km idle still waiting 5 minutes.

Glitch found. Meter set at $5 for the first 200 m and $1.80 per kilometer but sometimes before 200m meter price will jump by either $1 or $3. Please help.

THE BEST TAXIMETER EVER! This taximeter is pretty accurate and doesn't use to much battery. It shows pricing information. Taximeter works perfectly offline, but on GPS to be able sence distance. I use Google maps to (re)locate myself (bottom right spot) to keep app fully functioning when without internet, if on long trips. If no GPS, waiting time will be on, even vehicle is in motion. Distance can't be read underground, in tunnel, or if in flight on high altitude (possibly over 1000 m high), but catch up if started before getting under tunnel and leaving it or any other zone causing distance reading failure. If setting up fare "distance or time" it's recommended, but optional, to set up minimum speed, so if vehicle is slow and doesn't reach set up minimum speed, distance fare becomes time fare automatically (this fare type is most popular). You can set fares with infinite price accuracy, for example 0.000001. For example if hourly fare is 50.00, divide by 60, so minute cost 0.834. If you edit fares (services too) with prices with accuracy 0.001 or wider, rewrite all prices in a fare, otherwise meter will run prices on a fare only with accuracy of 0.01. And, if you set time distance and time fare, set minimum speed that can't be reached (like 500 km/h). Otherwise, that type of fare will not run as suppose to be.

Have used this app for quite a while and its pretty good.... However with the update cannot now set local currency (£) and cannot close the app down.... Its always on! Any chance of remedying this pls.

The best taxi meter I've found! Only this one saves battery if is used without USB cord and works (senses distance) without internet, it you localize yourself on GPS (on Google Maps!) in that case. There is 2 problems must be taken care of. 1) Option HOURLY FARE is missing (sometimes minute fare isn't good enough). 2) Also, missing a feature to ROUND TIME. It's to be able to choose for how many seconds to charge time fare. Most of taxis use meters exactly with these features! Thank you!!!

Easy to figure out and works well I used it with my gps to track how accurate the miles were. However it DOESN'T add the minutes to the total fare. It logs them but doesn't calculate it into the payment. Please fix will then then be a 5 star app

Easy set up, no unreasonable access requests, options for miles/$ or Kilo/Euros seems to be quite functional for my "Gyspy Cab" needs. Do͝ober Rides - $5.00 initial, $1.00 per mile, $1.00 per minute over first 5 minutes waiting.
