The driver will turn on the meter as soon as you book him, and not when he arrives as uber does. You end up paying way more than the estimate. Also customer service never replied to my emails inquiring about this.

This app was a life saver in Rome when we arrived too late for the buses and metro. The price was slightly higher than the predicted rate but much lower than the 50€ the crooks on the street were asking for.

God awful app. Terrible UI and UX, you can only look up where the taxi will pick you up before you order one - after you order, no walking directions and even then, you have to walk somewhere else because the taxi will arrive elsewhere anyway. No price estimation and option to set up destination either. This is just a disappointing attempt at replacing telephone operators of taxi companies, same artificial frictions that Uber and Lyft solve , apply here. Edit: Credit where credit is due - prices are better than normal taxis. I added two stars to reflect this.

Three times in the past week I've tried to book a taxi using this app and despite the app say there were cars 5 mins away all I got was a message saying "hailing your taxi please wait. This lasted for over 10 mins on each occasion. I couldn't even pre-book for the next day. Very poor app.

Don't bother in Barcelona.... There are no ubers here so we tried this app. We were about 50/50 getting a cab to come. This is even as cabs drove by. One local driver explained most taxi drivers don't like it. Even with the August sale to/from BCN it's not worth anything if you can't get a cab...

If you are in Rome, you simply won't get better prices or service. This was a life saver for our family who were tired of hunting down the right tram or bus to get between tourist sites in the heat of summer. We never waited longer than 5 min for a taxi to pick us up. Save your cash and pay by PayPal or Cc too! What's not to love!
