Originally coining the idea of 'chat heads' back in 2012, LilyPad HD is the first floating instant messaging/chatting app for your Android tablet and phone! Or how about those Samsung popup apps? Yup, LilyPad HD was there before that too. But unlike Facebook's Chat Head (chatheads) messenger, which limits you to only Facebook Messenger, LilyPad HD brings the floating chat/popup app idea to ALL of your favorite instant messaging services. That means you can now watch a YouTube video, surf the internet, or use any of your other apps while simultaneously chatting with your AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, Google Talk/Hangouts, MSN and yes, of course, Facebook friends!

Can't really test this as hangouts is the only free thing to test, and login fails. Yes, I have tried 2 step auth and normal password. I can log in on a web browser just fine.

Easy to use. Even if theres an ad below the chat box its not moving so it was great. No complains. I can now chat (hangout) without opening the whole program. Im so happy because it can be minimized on my notification dropdown thingy. So far no crashing.

Got the app to work, but there are some features I wanted in the paid version that I can't access (says it uses an outdated IAP service), so no paid features for me. Also, when the black box shows up, just tap on it and it should go away and open the app up.

The features advertised on this app do not work, so far only FB will connect. I thought the issue was 5.0...but it doesn't work with Jelly Bean either. I asked for a refund after purchase but so far I'm being ignored. Buyer beware, no update in over a year and ignored requests = abandoned app.

but the design is rather complicated. I suggest looking at the messenger app for facebook messages. The chat heads are convienent, and its rather well designed. The only thing it lacks is the ability to have multiple accounts from various sources, like this one does. If the design and function is improved, this app will surpass it.

At first I loved the app but I didn't like the ads, so I bought the upgrade and I had to restart my nexus 7 and REINSTALL THE APP to get it to work but after I reinstalled it it worked like day 1 but better. I dislike this app because: 1. The upgrade is overpriced. 2. I had to REINSTALL it! I like this app because: my friend messages me on Google plus hangouts a lot and it keeps me from having to change apps consistently. 2. It's easy to use. 3. I just like it.
