Jenny - the JPEG enhancer

Have you ever been annoyed by the blocking, quantization and compression artifacts in a JPEG image?

Jenny improves the display quality of JPEG images by feeding them through a specially designed filter. This will, to a large extend, remove the blocking artifacts while avoiding to blur the image. You can send a JPG image from the gallery or any other place in the Android system to Jenny and it will give you an enhanced image (in PNG format) in return.

This app is meant for smaller images. Photo-sized JPGs might take a long time to process.

Permissions used:

External storage read/write - To select images from external storage and be able save to external storage
Internet & reading network state - For a single ad-banner on the main screen
