SyPressure (Barometer) for Android
you need manual calibration me choice if not sensor show booghy values .you need time interval readings 10 min 20 min 40 min 60 min me choice if not your apk will drain battery reading every second.
This app does what it says; it reads the data output from the barometer sensor in my phone and displays it in one of several selectable units for me to see. Unfortunately, there is no readily apparent way to calibrate the data, so it believes that 29.65 inHg is the current reading and forecasts rain, when the latest METAR from the airport two miles away says 30.25. Sure, I could keep that 0.6 inHg in my head at all times, but isn't that what these apps are for?
Monitor does the job but wished there was more history. And seriously, should the app be alerting me of Upcoming sunny weather at 1 in the morning?
Keeps turning on notifications and changing units by itself. Wakes me up at 4am to say it might rain. Needs work.
No matter how many times I turn alerts off, it turns them back on. I don't need to know there is a possibility for rain every five minutes. It also resets the units.
Really works and uses nexus 5 barometer. Love the weather trend. Should have bar graph and arrow on widget indicating pressure rising or falling.
App seemed to work well but battery drain was too excessive for me. Will uninstall.
After a few hours it locks up. Phone restart always fixes it.
Yeah there's a pro / paid version but I will not subject myself to those ads to evaluate the free version.
The free version is just a gadget especially the weather bit which can go crazy and notify of a different trend every 5 minutes. I will buy next time I want an altimeter though.
Probably there something wrong with the maths behind this
After running for a few days the widget stops displaying pressure and displays N/a. The app is blank where the pressure is displayed. Very annoying glitch that can sometimes be fixed by a reboot.
Random readings compared to other tools. Graph history too short and completely incorrect. Shows history to 23h while it's still 18h. Useless tool with nice GUI

Looked good, but crashes on start on droid 4.2.2....... Bummer as it would be nice to have inflight. *uninstalled*
Drains too much power and my device doesn't last a day. However, it's accurate.
Awesome app... As a fanatical fisherman Ive always wanted a barometer in my pocket and now Ive got 1...
Drains battery faster than normal... Too many alerts.... Uninstalled
But the ad overlaps data.
Good but can use presure correction.
Also, has trouble when switching to landscape mode, most of the indicators disappear.
very high battery drain and random resets to default settings kills this one.
The built in barometer is incredibly accurate. It can measure altitude changes of less than 6 inches reliably.
Didn't know my note could do this. Although I'm unable to buy the pro version, says it's not compatible with my device. I'm running the at&t galaxy note with the latest ICS leak
Good but drains battery quite a bit.
Tried it out and kept getting rain warnings with no clouds in the sky and no rain for days. So to me I don't think this is very accurate. Samsung Note II
The widget and pressure tracking are well designed. The only thing it lacks is the ability to change the units.
great use of barometer sensor in galaxy nexus... because weather prediction from internet is way too mainstream... :)
In my location the pressure recorded by the app is very inaccurate. It needs a method of calibrating the pressure. I raise this issue with the developer and after 1 week I have not had a reply. I don't think it is ready for commercial release.
Needs the ability to 'calibrate' by putting in an offset value. Mine is off by .6 inhg. Otherwise this is a nice clean app.
On very first launch got this message. 'unfortunately, syspressure has stopped.' :-(
Needs option to disable background monitoring.
no way to turn off notification.
When showing time history the graph can clearly see if somebody slams the door.
Great Ice Cream Sandwich design but useless if you don' t know how pressure affects weather because the forecast algorithm sucks.
and nice functionality.

Sadly on 4.0.3 .27 the app gets a force to close but it is a great idea to get more use out of your phone or tablet.
The weather forecasting Alert can be annoying: "it might rain" seems less sophisticated than the dial I remember on the wall of my Dad's den -where, at least, you could "calibrate" the background scale to the gauge It doesn't take into account Climate Zones nor regional seasonal trends. I.e., semi-arid So.Cal. vs. Honolulu.

If your phone doesn't have a barometer in it how do you guys expect it to take a reading? Silly comments. Works flawless on a phone with barometer inside. Note 3
