Location Permission: App needs access to location in order to calculate distance. HTC & few other mobiles ask permission when App starts first time. As a standard Android OS kills app if it takes long time to launch. If so, then click Allow and restart the App. If you OPEN App from icon you will see Permission dialog immediately & by clicking Allow you won't have any issue.

Suburb Selection in Settings will give fuel prices in your suburb and surrounding suburbs.
If Region and Suburb both are selected, Region will be ignored and you will get suburb prices. Disable suburb to get region prices.

Running a stock Nexus 6p on Android 7.1.1, and app crashes on start. Would love to try app, seems promising.
