Maya, the title of the first story as well as that of the book, was a wonderful story, revolving around a girl .There is no words to describe his story telling abilities, and his neat presentation by great author sujatha,
மாயா தினமணி கதிரில் வெளியானது. முதல் அத்தியாயம் வெளிவந்த கையோடு அதன் ஆசிரியர் சாவிக்கு ஒரு கடிதம் வந்தது. அதற்கு முன் நான் நடுவராக இருந்த சிறுகதைப் போட்டிக்குத் தான் கதை அனுப்பியதாகவும் அந்தக் கதையை அப்படியே காப்பி அடித்து இது
சிறுகதைப் போட்டிக்கு எனக்கு கடைசி 10 கதைகள் மட்டும்தான் காட்டப்பட்டன என்றும், அதில் அந்த அன்பர் எழுதிய கதை இல்லை, தேறவில்லை என்றும் ஆசிரியர் சாவி சொல்லிப் பார்த்தார். ஆனால் அந்த ஆசாமி விடாப்பிடியாக கதிர் அலுவல கத்துக்கு வந்து தொந்தரவு செய்தார். சட்டென்று முடிவு எடுத்தார் சாவி, ‘கேஸ் போடும்’ என்றார். அதன்பின் அவரிடமிருந்து கடிதமோ தொந்தரவோ இல்லை.

அண்மையில் காலமாகிவிட்ட ‘சாவியிடம் என் நீண்ட நாள் நட்பில் இம்மாதிரிச் சம்பவங்கள் பல.

அவர் நினைவுக்கு இந்தப் புத்தகத்தைச் சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன்.
