You can use NFC tags (driver's licenses, commuter passes, ID cards, electric money card etc.) as "Keys" without which you can't stop alarm sound.
For example, putting your card in the bathroom or on the dining table prevents oversleeping and sleeping again.
NFC alarm works correctly with FeliCa and Mifare cards. Other NFC tags are also available, but some apps are configured to start with specific types of NFC tags. If you have installed such apps, they starts prior to NFC Alarm and some tags can't be used in NFC Alarm.

What the negative reviews fail to realise is that this is designed to be used with NFC tags embedded in your ID's, travel cards or debit cards. Which is cheaper than buying tags. So yes if you have a blank tag this will not work, but write something to that tag and you can reuse it for this as well as other things. Excellent app which gets me out of bed!

A few apps out there would let me shut off alarms with nfc tags but this app let me shut off the alarm with a specific tag. Love it. Can't live with out it.

The alarm will not turn off for the NFC I put on the door. It is un-programmed. I tried programming it to with no success. The app will not program tags either. uninstalling. To bad I wasted money on this.

This is the best use for NFC I have found! Works every time I set the alarm, no problems at all. It force closes a few times after it alarms, but it doesn't affect actual use.

It's a good idea but very useless when it doesn't work.. Aside from that it didn't work with either of my 2 nfc tags I think the settings were to few. I need more than just time, melody and what tag to use.

I'm using NXP MIFARE ultralight C NFC tags and a first gen moto x with Android 4.4.4. This app let's you make multiple alarms that are very configurable and you can make any compatible tag a "key" to turn off one or more alarms. I love that it does not require any special permissions to run. However when I exit the ui to change settings I get notifications that the app has stopped working, also the alarm turned off on its own this morning and only played the buzzer once.
