I have been waiting on a code to activate for more than 2 weeks. Dunno what's going on but it's stuck. Shrug... good premise... bad execution though... **Updated** The app works beautifully now. I got a fix from the publisher and now it works great. Thank you to Republic Bank for the app, it is very convenient.
I am experiencing trouble to logon to my account, I followed the steps with going to new user and creating my pin but when i try to logon i am getting a message "you can not logon at this time contact bank for further information"
On my first login after creating my mobile pin, when asked to set security questions the page is blank apart from the submit button. When I tap the button it takes me to a "answers to security questions set" screen and from there just takes me back to the set security question screen or back to the login screen. So currently I'm unable to even login basically
I'm been trying quite a while now to install this app and could never get pass the language section. Very irritating. .... After waiting sooooo long on the phone (credit going down on prepaid) to talk to someone, on getting through in the process of solving the problem I got cut off and for nothing they had called back. I'm hoping now that with this message I can get some assistance. ..
Typical third world app development. This app is horrible. It barely works. I constantly the message "Session expired. Please log in again". It's very annoying that a multi-billion empire like RBL can't get an app right.
Many times when making visa payment, I would get "session expired, please log in again" over and over. And this is with Login in and going directly to payment..... Also please add pending VISA transactions to the app. It's important to see if a transaction was successful or not and helps to avoid doubling up transactions.
The app works well for balance checks and transfers between savings accounts. I experience glitches with credit card payments, though. The session almost always times out and I get a "session expired" error message which requires me signing in (again) to the app. This happens when I'm using mobile data and even when I have a strong, secure WiFi connection.
It would be unfair for me to leave this as a poor rating. Tried again with this app and everything is working great!..... Still waiting for the text with the code... 4 days later. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing! Very disappointing.
Bank called and alerted me that they made changes to the app and sure enough I was able to log in this time. Kudos. Whenever I try to pay my credit card however, I keep getting logged out. 5 stars when this issue is resolved.
This app started out fine now for the past couple weeks I keep getting session timed out, which is very frustrating especially when there are times you need to check your account. Please fix this problem I probably got through twice in the last few weeks all other times is session timed out. RBL you can do better than this
Helllloooo any IT personnel working with this bank??? For the longest while this app has not been working! Come on man get your act together Republic, get your act together!! The other banks' apps does regular updates and bug fixes, why are you all sleeping on the glitch everyone is experiencing when trying to log on? Come better than that nah man, a big bank? Come On!!!
This app has issues I keep trying to log in and it says session expired please login again. But that's what I keep trying to do with the same message every time. I try using the new user tab to access account it says I'm already registered. I uninstalled app and reinstalled problem still persists. Fix this.
Hey guys I'm a Republic bank customer from Guyana, South America. Can my login information work on this app? I'm an Internet banking user but the app doesn't recognize my login credentials. Thanks for a speedy response
So far its great. I have not encountered any issues as yet. As a customer and an employee of this financial institution this is a really great product. Kudos to Team Republic☺☺
The app refuses to open and I keep getting a message Republic bank app won't open to a rooted/jail broken device. ?? I bought this device from Digicel ! I'm not aware if its rooted or jail broken ! Fix this nonsense please !
Just installed the app. I was able to configure my device within a few minutes...the sms took the longest. The screen is easy to navigate and use. Good work RBL
I'm updating my review and it's even worse than before, the app won't log in while connected to wifi, the app bugs out during payment transactions, doesn't have the option to email transaction receipts to yourself so it's like your payment was never made. Half a star for the idea of an app.
Edit: This app has been giving a lot of trouble lately reoccuring login issues. Thanks to Republic bank for rectifying the problems I encountered with the app when I initially downloaded. Activation and login are both now very easy with a simple easy to use interface and workable features. This app is very useful and makes online banking much easier and faster!
Cant seem to get access at all. If maintenance work is being done please inform customers. There had been some glitches which I worked around but no service at all is unacceptable especially when it's not just mobile I cannot access via computer as well. Please resolve this issue, internet banking is now non existant.
Which is not! I have an authentic Blu smartphone! What the hell! Only in Trinidad you get this crap! You all need to adjust this so called mobile service.
Constantly says session time out even when opening the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still get session timed out everytime I try to log in. App needs to update. Issues with Android 7.0
Too many problems logging on. Encountered numerous glitches with credit card payment.*update* well it's totally crashed now, I can't even log on. RBL need to fix this asap.
23May17: the Session Expired message still appears with painful frequency. Works well when it does. However, almost every time i try to log into the app, three to four times it fails with a " Session Expired" message - whether I'm on wifi or mobile data...
It started out fine but when I logged out and tried to log back in I keep getting a message saying session error session expired please log in again. It's constant and it's really irritating. I hope you see this and try to rectify that issue because I like the app and I want to continue using it.
Worked excellently (iOS version). Android version constantly alerting me that my session has expired and to attempt login again. This was after logging out and exiting the application PROPERLY. Local esupport representatives are not concerned about this issue. SHAME!
Honestly this app is very stressful. This is the second time my mpin is not accepted and now I'm locked out. Mind you I used this same pin last week to log in and check my balances. It's starting to be a useless app.
At present I am having problems logging in. It keeps saying session expired even though I have not logged in. It is becoming a nuisance as I am unable to conduct transactions on the go. I have been on the phone almost all day with this problem and to date no rectification. Ps it is not my phone because 99% of all my other apps do not have this problem. Get it fixed.
Works great. Disappointed that Material design wasn't fully adopted like the RBC app but everything else seems functional. Curious as to how the MPIN works though. Doesn't it defeat the purpose if someone finds out my pin given that it doenst ask for your secure card once it's set up?
As a person on the go this is a must have app if you bank with them. Loving it.
Installed it and it seems to have most of the functions needed. But... No shortcut on the mobile! It is not listed among all other apps. The only way I can start it is through Playstore! Please solve that and 4 stars will appear! Edit: Ok, I found it... But not on Republic as in Playstore, but on Mobile... A bit weird to have different names on an app, but at least it's less of a hassle to use now. So, 4 stars!
It's really useful when it works but it frequently doesn't work and that's too frustrating. You constantly get a session error when trying to login.
At first when I download the app it was a confusing and stressful process but this second time when I installed it was much better... Good User interface... Good work... Keep looking to improve the experience for users
several times after using this application it crashes. I would go on the play store and uninstall and reinstall it only for it to happen again .i am fedup
Took a while to get the sms code, had to retry. It eventually worked and does what it's supposed to. User friendly and simple. I don't like the delay in processing though, but as I said, it eventually does what it's supposed to.
Wasn't even aware that Republic had a mobile app. Just decided to search play store and came accross it. Kudos to republic bank its about time. I love it!
3 days after I installed this app, and the activation pin still has not been sent. Will be uninstalling until they fix this problem

I tried to download it from another mobile (Galaxy J1 mini). It says: "Your device isn't compatible with this version". Concerning the activation pin, you should send it to the email address, too. So customers would have another option. Still, congratulations for this app.
Said it doesn't work on rooted tampered with devices. My phone isn't rooted.

1 Star: Cant use the app. It's making me change my transaction password (which I barely remember), but telling me that I can't leave the password field blank when I've filled all three fields out. I can't move on from this screen. Has potential, a bit disappointed still. UPDATE: 3 Stars - after receiving the SMS confirmation I'm still taken to the transaction password change page. App still unusable. Extra star for Republic bank's resolution of the issues we report. UPDATE: STILL 3 STARS After finally being inspired to re-install the app, the installation and login creation was a breeze. However, I'm stuck with the message "unable to logon at this time". So still can't log in. Won't uninstall the app just yet though, will wait for update.
