Waves: Mediterranean Forecasts

The Waves UTMEA application gives opportunity to obtain informations (images and texts) about forecasts of the Mediterranen Sea waves; the informations are updated daily and made available on a server.

The Technical Unit for Environment and Energy Modeling (UTMEA) is an ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) research initiative to support innovation in environmental management and to develop technologies for a sustainable economic developement. Research activities in the Unit include modeling and observing regional climate systems, designing energy strategies and providing new technologies for the adaptation of infrastructures and human activities to environmental changes with special emphasis on low-carbon society.
