I use it on an Android 2.3.6 phone with kodi 16 running on a raspberry pi. Had no issue with config.

Xbmc has a lot of features. Some remotes are getting so big and have so many features. This one is short, small and to the point. Unbeatable in my opinion.

W70%
by W####:

while this app is good for simple usage. i keep finding my self using a more popular remote because this one does not have good support for navagation in frodo. The file browser centric navigation in this app leaves a lot to be desired. Overall if the app developer released this to the open source community. then this would be a five star tutorial app to make a xbmc remote.

I love this app. I tried all of the xbmc remote and this one is the best. It has the skip buttons, which is great for listening to my podcasts (most others don't have that). The only thing I miss from this app is the ability to sort the media files not by name but by date. Please, please, Aaron Gray, add that functionality and I'll be happy to give you money!!

Works with my raspbmc box, unlike so many other apps with uses outdated API. (Galaxy Nexus, 4.2.1)

No movie covers, but works well.

First of all It works with new XBMC 12 because it is using new API (thanks for the update!) I really like its huge buttons and very simple easy to use user interface. Thanks for giving life to my old HTC Hero as a remote control for my Pi with Raspbmc and XBMC!

Only xbmc remote with a volume control. Therefore its the best one.

Not tried it with my old xbox yet, trying to get it to work with a RasPi version, but so far no luck, hence the 2 stars

by Y####:

Kinda dumb name though.

Y70%
by Y####:

The best of all the remotes I tried, this one actually has important buttons like subtitles, audio, and jump.

Y70%
by Y####:

This has the ability to make a play queue that none of the others has. It could use a slicker interface, but it works great.

Y70%
by Y####:

Good start, very basic. Needs many more features to be a contender.

Y70%
by Y####:

Good effort. The official remote is still the best one imho.

Y70%
by Y####:

The application is very simple, offer just the very basic controls. With more work I'm sure it will be excellent but at the actual stage, left much to be desired feature wise. It needs a on screen control of subtitles and other options and access the library, not just the files

by Y####:

Could not get it to work, and I have configured 3 other with ease... Cannot save xbmc server settings.

Y70%
by Y####:

This is the best xbmc remote, just what I was looking for

Y70%

Thank you for being the only remote i could find to support the JSON api, used exclusively for Rasplex/ Plex Home Theater.
