Camera Disabler (camjam in short) enables you to disable your camera temporarily while the app runs in the background! A hassle-free simple interface with the ability to disable the camera or enable it after you are done with your mission.
This app is extremely light and takes up next to no space on your phone! It uses a safe method of giving priority of the camera to this app thus preventing other apps from accessing the camera. Hence it does not meddle with the hardware.
Depending on your phone model and firmware, different messages will appear on the screen when you try to run your camera app with camjam disable function on. These include, "camera failed" and "process has stoppped unexpectedly" among others.

I have been wanting to smaaaaash my phone my camera just kept popping on every 2 seconds! No mater how many times I force stopped it or killed it it would pop right back on and as soon as I disabled my camera my phone is back to normal! No glitches yet! Thanks soooooo much ur a phone saver! Lol

I dropped my phone in watter and now the camera won't stop popping up, it won't let me do anything! Then I found this apparently it's perfect, the only thing I can possibly see wrong with this is when I'm scrolling through my apparently screen it exits out whenever it stops my camera from activating but other than that perfect app love it!

With further use it seems to disable itself or gets disabled somehow. Please add auto start app on boot with camera disabled!!! UPDATE: Get rid of the permissions "Disable Camera" has no permissions. Uninstalled after upgrade to ICS 4.0.4 this app is smaller in size than "Camera Lock LIte" and I think uses less battery. But "Disable Camera" uses almost no battery and is the smallest in size..

Perfect app but after camera is blocked for several minutes, it enables again. I installed on galaxy s2. Same with all my friends. Also crashes. Waiting for a fix gor this.

My camera button is on the side and when the camjam is enabled if I'm in my picture gallery znd accidently touch my camera button my camera comes up and messes up what I was looking at.

It would be nice if the app only let you use the camera on certain apps, like toggling which apps let you use the camera.
