Bread down the representation further. Show exponent and biased exponent. Show the implicit 1 bit in the mantissa, explaining that this ensures normalisation. Allow bits to be toggled. Cover infinity, negative infinity and not a number. Demonstrate that zero and minus zero are special values. My thanks to you for what you have done already.
