Powerguide is always wrong. There has never been a whole month where I have had accurate readings whether it is the consumption or production side. Even if it isn't an app issue but a gateway issue, this app is useless if it doesn't show a full accurate month.

I have the app on my phone and my tablet. Can't login from either because it keeps showing "password incorrect" I uninstalled and redownloaded the app but still have the issue. My password works fine on my laptop. UPDATE 4/15/17 Solar city support has resolved the issue and now the app works great. I guess there was a glitch in the last update.

Recently started asking me to sign in, keep in mind I signed on as "remember me". Now when attempting to launch the app, it ask me for my password. I had to reset my password, did that successfully. Now when I return the next time to launch, it won't accept the newly created password. Did this several times, before I realized the app has issues. Currently I have uninstalled for now. ***Update **** It's been 11 days since I emailed the developer, I haven't heard back from anyone. So. I continue to wait for a representative to reply. Update 4/20 After not hearing from anyone now for almost 3 weeks. I decided to call the concierge's office. I spoke to Eddie, who reached out to his IT department. IT sent me a link to reset my password. So I just reinstalled the app and for now everything is working fine.

I've had SolarCity for 2 years, the info on the app is enlightening but I only truly want it so I can conveniently make monthly payments... However for the whole 2 years I've never been able to (it just has a blank screen when ever I try to go to "billing") and can only call in which takes forever. So this app is a bit worthless for me.

Trying to sign in. Gives me error saying password incorrect. Go to the website it's fine. Really annoying. Maybe time to update. I have uninstalled & reinstalled but still gives me.

Poorly designed, poorly implemented. Credentials seem to be maintained separately from the web app. There is no password reset. (Uninstall, reinstall required.) There's a long, annoying intro video. It gives frequent, useless error messages. If this were a coding project for first-year students, it would get a C-.

App is basically useless. I can't see my now tab as advertised and I can't see my now tab. It basically shows you how much electricity you produced lately and that's it.

I started my account by signing in with Google but the button doesn't work anymore. So this app is useless for me. I have to go to the website where the sign in with Google does work. Had to uninstall then reinstall to get log in to work. Then have to watch the same into video and you can't skip. This issue has persisted for at least 6 months. It reoccurs every time they hate this app. No additional features from the website.

If only this app worked like my solar panels. I have two systems and don't have the ability for a unique name. Billing doesn't work, just a pretty green picture. Not sure this is a native app since looks awfully close to a mobile website.

This app is useless! It never connects, tells me my gateway isn't working, doesn't track my usage! In my opinion it is a waste!

This app is awful. Designed by idiots. Installed and used by bigger idiots who keep hoping it will improve. Constantly crashes and shows very little information.

After reinstalling, it says the password is incorrect. I checked my password on the computer and it is correct. Something is wrong with the app. Fix it please.

No issues with login(direct user/pw not through Google or fb) or viewing production, except when there is a network issue. But why won't it display any billing info? Would be nice to pay bill from app without being redirected to website and having to sign in again.

Since May this app has only reported about 2 weeks of production. Tesla/SolarCity has come back multiple times to attempt to fix this but so far no good. Apparently it's a hardware issue that needs to be replaced AGAIN but as this is all a connected system I have to give this app one star.

This app is easily bored, and so spends its time flashing little popups that say "your connection has been lost" and "your connection has been restored." Mind you, this happens whether you are using the app or not. Watch a video on YouTube, check your mail, it doesn't matter. This app will keep reminding you of your connection status.

Edit: After having issues I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working. Happy to have solar but the app only gets 3 stars for now. First off you have to watch a long introductory video that can't be skipped. Then you try to log in using the Google button but it won't let you! Tried logging in using Google log in info but that says wrong password. Looks like I'm stuck using the website for now.

After a recent update, all historical production disappeared on the charts. April shows, March and before has disappeared; used to see it. The usage stats still show. And I have both usage and production metering installed. Someone messed up during the update. Would also like to see my bills/etc.

Thanks for reading my review. So the latest app is, again, better. But sadly still doesn't have good Android UX built into it. Your intro pages use audio. Most people can't listen to audio because they use mobile phones when they are... mobile (in public places, for example.) Then, you have no idea how to implement the back feature in Android. There is a back button, people use it frequently when getting around their apps. The back button should not go back through the login process (after successful login.) The back button should allow you to close the app when done with it. You guys still have a lot of issues. Try reading the Android design guidelines. They are very well defined, and describe the expected UX on Android in great detail (down to the pixels.)

The app is horrible. Rarely does anything work. I have never, in the 6 months my panels have been turned on, been able to see my bill using the app. Even worse, it rarely opens on my computer. I am on auto pay for the discount, but I prefer to pay as soon as I know the bill is ready, so I can put extra money on it to pay or off early. I used to love SC, but because of their app, website, short billing notification, lack of functionality...won't be using them on our next house.

The only value this app has is allowing u to modify ur consumption vs output. Sadly, most times SolarCity neglects to add the hardware that monitors consumption. Something called a "power blaster". If you complain, they'll tell u that they are offered to everyone. Unless they can't fit in the standard size main service breaker. I can assure u, this didn't happen. So, since every1 is entitled, I asked them 2send one. I'll pay an electrician to install it. Needless to say! So here's the 1* review I promised.

The user interface us great. Very easy to use and understand. However the app constantly freezes and I have to force it to close and then reopen it.

I checked it most every day, but now I can't tap the Google button to log in. Do I need to sign up for a log in name now? ..... I tried changing my password online, and sign in the other way and still can't get in, tells me my PW is wrong, going to install and reinstall. For now this app gets 1 star.

It shows power generation, thats good. Most of the rest of the app is filler or not functional. Cant even view or pay my bill on it. There's a blank screen for billing, but not a lot to it. There's less thought put into useful things than there is into "Hey, look at me! SOLAR CITY WHOO!" Type stuff. I brought this app down to 1 star because Solar City doesn't seem to care that the app is abhorrent. If billing worked, it would be a solid 4 in my book.

Near me feature does not work, keeps saying "user denied geolocation " even though I have location services enabled. Restarted device and Uninstaller and installed again but still don't work.

Could not use Near me function. Always get "User Denied Geolocation" pop up but still can't fix it.
