Office HD: TextMaker TRIAL for Android
Can't open pdf's. Add this and let me convert it to a Doc and all buy it.
Found this app very usefull
The desktop-style user interface is amazing. Unlike older versions, this iteration is fast and scrolls smoothly. What blew my mind, however, is the completeness of its feature set; the app can comfortably replace a desktop program.

The best app for android
So nic.
Sunil
Please make a another version that dont need wifi
Please add endnote, thank you
How do I remove the program from the 30-day ??????
Has severe issues with page structure (paragraphs on wrong pages and headers not in correct place on page) and font recognition - it ignores embedded fonts and just displays what ever is installed on device or in the app. Strangely the mobile version displays Word documents created in MS Word better than this! The layout although comprehensive is cluttered and looks amateurish.
I thought it will be good for my ho.e work but it was awful
The best app for android
Its the best planmaker
Superb
Good application for users
Forces me to "save as" every time i just want to save a docx file. Then still freezes as 0% during saving process. Custom keyboard mapping is buggy too on my galaxy with QWERTY keyboard. Too many needless steps must be followed to repeatedly select and apply each customization individually before it actually works (e.g. instead of allowing for multiple customizations to be selected and then applied in one go) and then many are still forgotten after restart.
Trying Trail version. The App always crashes while trying to save. Will I have to buy the full version to be able to save?
Really loving it - but have one bug that is a pretty big no for me. Loading an ODT file, I find that the indentation of bullet points is flattened. That is, instead of like this: * Point 1 * Subpoint 1 * Sub-subpoint 1 You get * Point 1 * Subpoint 1 * Sub-subpoint 1 I can provide a test document if it'll help resolving things. The file was made with the latest LibreOffice (5.1)
EDITED: Having just installed the trial I am very impressed by this app. There is a bit of a learning curve discovering how to set default page size, font and language. I thought I was going crazy trying to set the default to British English as it kept appearing as "United .." at the foot of the document no matter what I did, and I wrongly presumed that the not visible next word was "States" when In fact it was "Kingdom". Both US and British English appear as "United". Thanks for your reply & the clarification. I have been using TM2012 on my PC & it does have an included Help file accessible from within the program as well as the separate User Manual viewable in an external PDF reader so I was expecting something similar. In the Android version TOOLS - HELP opens the User Manual in external PDF reader & there is no built in Help file. The suggested method of inserting pictures is certainly much easier (I was using OBJECT- NEW PICTURE rather than OBJECT - NEW PICTURE FRAME to insert a picture. As I said in my initial review it is very different to MS Word but that ISN'T a bad thing. I'm very impressed with the support - EDIT 2 I just purchased the full version :-) .
I download it just & it shows that the trial time is out. I wrote a mail to it's support department on 11/11/2015,but I hadn't got any benefits at least & I am uninstalling it app.
I'm really close to loving this app, but I've got a few minor issues that I hope will be fixed in future updates. 1. It doesn't always remember words that I add to the dictionary, so that when I open a document again, all the squiggles are back on words I already corrected. 2. I'm having problems with quotation marks. It will either only do a single apostrophes or give me a smart quote or curly quote interchangeably, no matter how many times I change the settings. Frustrating to say the least! When I can fix those problems, I'll be happy to give this app five stars. Thanks!
This is a robust and feature-rich word processor for Android. Nothing comes close to its functionality. It shames Microsoft's Word for Android offering in every department. TextMaker HD is fast, reliable and easy to use. I can't recommend it highly enough. Well done, SoftMaker. Outstanding.
and short learning curve. The best WP I've tried especially as it allows for ODT format I use. Absolutely no complaints except there is a server problem when trying to purchase.
Love it, but am annoyed that i had to buy the now "free" version and need to buy again.
It is the most stabile and fast app on the store AND it provides the broadest range of writing and editing options at the same time. I am writing my thesis and all other writing stuff on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000, and this program really facilitated everything in many ways. Just give it a try. It also comes with a hefty price vis-a-vis other alternatives. I will definitely buy it. ****Yet, there is one minor bug that I could detect and I hope they will fix it soon. When I use my down and up arrow buttons (of my BT kybrd) to shift between lines for editing, the program just puts me on different segments of the lines, sometimes pushing me two lines above, sometimes to the other edge of the line above, but never makes me able to go to the paralel segment of the above (or below) line as it is intended (and waited) to be done as any other program on any other platform would do. It is as if there is some myterious font and size hidden and program takes that as the base for shifting lines.I hope you will fix it soon, it is really time consuming and annoying for me. (And sorry for my previous comment. My bad for not finding that option.-And thanks for the rapid response!-Regards.)
A well constructed and easy to use app with lots of good features. Sadly let down by not rendering Open Document format files correctly. Therefore useless for synching with desktop or cloud.
Best word app by far far far. It's a scientific writers heaven and a proofreaders dream, tracking changes, insert comments, everything like the original word but on android mobile platform. No more laptop computer, bye bye. I would pay five, even ten times as much as the developers are asking for for this software because it gives me total freedom with a (large) android tablet. Customize the toolbar to your needs with hundreds of action icons, compatible with old and newest file types, simply a dream. After a 11 year pause (yes, eleven years) of not using textmaker (used it first on an old windows CE device and also there it was the best) I rediscovered textmaker HD for android. Thank you Softmaker, you are making my professional life a lot easier and much more mobile. Keep up the good work.
I am an author who loves using my Samsung Galaxy Note tablets to write my novels by hand. I've tried almost every word processor app available, and NONE even come close to this. I have been using the regular version of TextMaker happily for years (writing almost an entire book with it), that I can't believe that SoftMaker found a way to create an even better app. It includes some extremely useful tools that make this without a doubt the ONLY app any serious writer should use. It has an active spell check that underlines the word in red, and allows you to add words to it. The interface is intuitive and just like a PC program, with many customizable options. It comes with more fonts than any other app on the market, making it useful for more than just writing. But the best addition that makes this THE go to Android word processing app for serious and professional writers is the addition of a thesaurus, something I have been wishing to see included for years! Trust me, if you ever wished you could use your tablet to write your book wherever the inspiration takes you, then download TextMaker Office HD. I promise you'll end up buying it before the end of your 30 day trial.
It said, "this is a trial version, pay for the real one". Hmph, never even got to open, let alone see it. Oh well I'm happy with Kingsoft/WPS. It should be a limited-uses trial i.e., you can create a given number of documents before deciding to purchase, rather than a time limit. We don't all have the time to trial all the apps we would like to under the restrictions of an arbitrary time line. I had no "grace runs".
Sorry softmaker, i used this on my galaxy s4 smartphone. Worked great but obviously screen size is a limitation. I'm willing to live with that. Is there a way to share smarttext between textmaker versions - ihave a hunded entries and use linux and win versions too.
I got the trial version to test this out about 45 minutes ago. It states very clearly it is a 30 day trial. I opened one existing file on my tablet, realized it was the wrong one and closed it. I then went to open the application to create a new file to play with it and immediately got a pop-up that my free trial had expired and to upgrade to the full version. I feel as if this is a bait and switch and I don't appreciate it. I doubt I will purchase this as a direct result of this experience. (05/25/2015)
2015.02.20.Fri.13:05. Expired }} Removed from TN7 and replaced with permanent version.
The desktop-style user interface is amazing. Unlike older versions, this iteration is fast and scrolls smoothly. What blew my mind, however, is the plethora of features; the app can comfortably replace a desktop app.
Love it

This is so brilliant, I can open all my folders in TextMaker, wherever they are, from the Phone or Cloud. Working in TextMaker on my Samsung tablet on files in Dropbox documents that i created in OpenOffice and Microsoft Office. Great Stuff. And if you wanted to fix the document you can Export as PDF. Just like OpenOffice, it could be an invoice or an official PDF, and save back to you drive or back to Dropbox. It would be nice to open PDF's if only to view them after you exported it, but hayho. You can always use an Adobe Reader, or Dropbox itself. Really great App. Also see "P PlanMaker HD trial" for Schedules like Excel, and OpenOffice calc.
