Craftsman Smart Lock Toolbox

It worked the first month I had it now it keeps saying battery is dead and I have put new ones in...

Nothing but problems run from buying this stupid tool chest.....

Craftsman is not upholding it's reputation.

Why no proximity based unlocking? Get it together. The only thing holding this back from being a fantastic tool box is this app.

This is the most unstable app ever. When it decides to work it's hella convenient BUT IT RARELY EVER WORKS.

i bought this box for this smart lock what a crock im tierd of it i want my money back screw this not one time has any of your updates work WHAT THE HELL

You have to restart the app to connect to the first box after the last update.

After last update app just crashes still doesn't have the auto lock feature that the box is sold as having. Box has been out long enough that app being beta is no longer an excuse. Now I'm just waiting for the class action lawsuit so I can get my money back for the fraudulent advertisement of the features of this box. Also it forces you to turn on locations, why does Sears need to know the location of the box for me to use bluetooth, that's sketchy, used to be a craftsman guy, now I can't trust craftsman or Sears holding.

Come on, this app is garbage. It takes FOREVER to trying to connect to the box, and seems to take a miracle to actually succeed in doing so, even if you're standing right next to the damn thing.

I was skeptical getting this at first, and obviously did not just buy the tool box because if this feature, but tried it out anyway and it works perfectly. I could see why the bad reviews are here cause people probably don't know how to work Bluetooth, and yeah it is a Hassel to always have to even turn your Bluetooth on when you want to use it, but it does work and is working as they advertise.

yo craftsman, or stanley or sears , or whomever is currently signing the checks...whats up with the limited functionality on android when compared to how awesome this app is on iphone...please tell me you guys are going to update this app for Android again...please, please, please!!

IM locked out and this app only crashes

Just got mine in today, truly love the color of the box, black and gold. The Bluetooth is horrible, it does lock my box but when I unlock it, it locks back up right away withouth me pressing anything. At one point the locking mechanism started to make all this noise like it was stuck. Please fix these issues.

The box will unlock and sometimes relock after 10 seconds. It takes a few seconds for the lock to activate and the app will load forever preventing me from interacting with the lock. Interesting concept, but in its current state it is more inconvenient than using a key

Love the box. Lots of room for improvement on the bluetooth. Sometimes my top box will just sit and actuate lock and unlock for minutes on end

The app is always crashing. I used the app the first week all good. Now it's been months since I can open my box with the app. App does not even work. Wish I never purchased this box.

Junk

Updated to most recent version. Saw no change in anything at all. Already provided feedback prior to this update. Really seems that it could be straightened out in the right hands. Might just build my own Bluetooth receiver and write my own app

I entered both smart locks in the app and for both it wouldnt fully connect to the locks. Also it shows a warning triangle and it wont let me do anything with app.

The app worked for the first week or so but soon after it wouldn't recognize my chest anymore. I removed and reinstalled the app, and now when I enter the serial number as before it says it doesn't exist.

Just brought my box home. One of the reasons I bought this model was the app but the unlock doesn't work; it cycles about 4 times then states "locked" still. I know it is in beta still but let's get it together! Also, can you make it unlock when my phone is near and lock when I walk away, maybe with a time delay option for the lock? That would be awesome!

Sometimes the box will lock or unlock itself without me doing anything. Definitely a lot of bugs to work out.

App crashes each time I try to use it.

App crashes anytime I try to click on anything whether it's adding a new devise or trying to lock or unlock an existing one.

Love the Pro Series 52" rolling tool chest combo. High quality box- nothing is flimsy when it comes to box integrity. With the Smartlock app, it is still a work in progress but the Sears guy I'm in contact with is very helpful and is releasing new updates every few days. When the bugs are worked out with the app, I'll rate it 5 stars for sure!

just bought a craftmens pro series with the Bluetooth locking and all it does is lock and never unlocks... the app is bogus and does not work and the sad part is it's a 52-inch tool box that weighs a lot so it's not easy to just take it right back. I have to say Craftsman Pro Series has gone downhill for anybody looking to buy this do not buy!!!

Update I bought this product because it said Pro. app downloaded ... and lock just runs all the time ... I am locked out of my toolbox and the key will not fit in the lock anymore I am hoping the batteries run out soon to see if I can use my key...will call sears in the morning will update again.

App not ready for android yet " beta status"
