Absolute Pitch Pro for Android
Great! Slowly but surely learning the differences between the notes and how each one sounds so far I can't get an A#, D, or B wrong and C has a certain hollow and smooth sound that I'm starting to recognize too
Worth the $1.41 ;-) to get different timbres. Excellent hw it allows users to choose the notes and octaves to be tested, and that it introduces octave naming to pitch. Though notes should be A1 (27Hz ) up to C8 with the octave switch at A not C. A greatly useful add on will be to have a choice to play 2, 3, or 4 note chords harmonically using the selected pitches for the drills. (It would be better if the icon of this program looked different than the icon of the free version, or if this paid version upgraded and replaced the free version.)
After a bit of investigation in Absolute pitch, training with this app is widely recommended. Not only are the individual instruments' pitch spot on and natural sounding, but the UX is also carefully designed. Thanks, dev.
