Watch Accuracy for Android
I used it for a while. It seemed to work OK once I got the hang of it. Then I had to wipe my phone for other reasons and I could not find the folder where my timing data was stored....lost it all after the wipe. So I started over. Just today all my profiles just suddenly disappeared. Gone. Why? I'm done with this app. I'd be better off timing by hand.
Doesnt have the Nexus 5x API, so everything is upside down. Which makes it useless
Impossible to focus using any of the default or advanced focus settings. First app ever to behave like this. Useless.
Camera cannot focus on the face, needs a micro focus otherwise its useless . LATEST UPDATE WERE ON 2014 THIS APP IS DEAD
image is mirror/inverted in viewer, so it's difficult/annoying to use this app
Can't correctly capture the photo even once.
However, the picture is upside down on my Nexus 5X. Would it be possible to add a setting to flip the camera?
Cannot focus on S7 edge even I tried all different focusing mode.
wont work with s8 :(
I like the concept but no matter what I try i cannot get my Note 5 to focus. This has a great camera too. Bummer!
The concept is good but the profile with the results is gone every two days(the measurements dissappear) so it is impossible to measure accuracy for more then 2 days.... It's a pity!
It works great, no loss of data and no focus problems on my Huawei p9. I would like to understand better how the daily average is measured and a time stamp next to each measurements.
Try all 4 camera settings but none will auto focus. Watch photo is out of focus making the app unusable.
Without tap to focus, taking the pictures is impossible (from GALAXY Note 3). I hope this is a quick fix.
Same comment as most people, very promising please continue to develop. No autofocus and image inverted. Better algorithm to detect hands. Will be very useful for people working in the watchmaking industry, we are ready to pay for an app that does just that correctly. Thank you.
Looks like a great app - simple, logical, easy to use...however none of the focus options work for a Samsung S6 so useless...will be 5 stars once corrected.
Already emailed your support. No response. Phone is S7 edge.
Worked great on my Note 4. I now have a Note 5 and the camera does not focus in any mode. Please fix!
It looks like only taking the difference instead of calculating the daily +/- spd rate. If 2 readings taken 3 days apart (72hrs) with +9 seconds diff, then the daily rate is +3 spd and not +9. Time and date of screen capture should be used to compute the average +/- spd. Refer watch check app.
My camera cannot focus on this app
Can't focus on Note 4
I align watch in the center and then take a photo. Photo slides down and i have to realign it with arows agin. Is this a Bug?
Any way to set it up to use seconds from a subdial for chronographs??
If corrected to work with autofocus on samsunf this will be a very nice app.until then can't really use it
seemslike a good app but camera wont focus on note 5
App seems to work as intended but I cannot get the S6 camera to focus when the watch is close enough to get a reading. I have tried all of the apps focus settings but none have made a difference. I tried just taking a close up of my watch outside of this app and it worked like a champ
Great looking interface. However after trying this app out, I don't see any point using it as I already know that my watch is running fast. So really have no further reason to use this app. Like another reviewer my watch profile suddenly disappeared.
Could be a good app but has the following issues on the S6, no ability to focus on watch face with any of the settings and no ability to move the small second hand dial as mine is at 6 o'clock but the app defaults to the 9 o'clock position.
Won't work for multiple reasons. First, it can't focus the camera on my S6 Edge. I can take a picture at the same distance with the native camera app, so it's not hardware. Second, I have multiple watches with small seconds at 6. The template only covers small seconds at 9.
On my Nexus 5X, running Android Marshmallow, the camera is inverted and mirrored and the upside-down, back-to-front image is mindbogglingly tricky to centre.
Great concept and interface, but the camera won't focus. I've tried all of the focus options in the menu. Maybe if there was a way to upload our own picture and read the exif data.
Good Application. From Joseph Chan (Singapore )
I am using Tickoprint app for instant mesurements and Watch Accuracy app for average mesurements of watches I serve. The application is very handy and works fine on Motorola Droid X with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, only sometimes when I lunch Daily Roads Woyager app it loose measured data, but overall it is great app, thanks.
Can't get focus on Samsung s6 edge
Is not the easiest to understand apps, once you get the hang of it it is very awesome!
Prone to crashing. Then lost all stored profiles and associated data.
Great idea. With focus you can live but sometimes the accuracy just shots too wide. The calculation might be exact but aligning the hands takes more then human precision :o)
It estimates accuracy over a period of a few hours, so it's more suited for measuring watch accuracy during day to day use. It's very good while it works, but ruined by a bug that randomly deletes profiles, erasing ALL records and you have to start all over again. It also doesn't record the time of the measurement, only the date. Watch Accuracy app can't measure real time accuracy so it's not suitable for regulating your watch. For regulation purpose, I recommend Wildspectra instead. Fix the bug please
A little buggy, but it does the job.

Tested on Bulova accutron ii. It says it was losing 25 seconds per day. It compared exactly to my atomic set watch on the same baseline. Not sure if it was because I was using the NIST setting or not.
