Rainscope

Rainscope is your private meteo satellite. Based on algorithms used in satellite meteorology, adapted for ordinary camera, it lets you use the "space" technology on the ground, from your smart phone. Take pictures of the sky above you and have them analyzed to get instant and 100% local rain forecast.

Rainscope works offline and independent of any large scale weather forecasts or external sources of data. Therefore, it's a great companion for your outdoor adventures when you have no connection or local forecast is not available.
