AndroBOINC for Android
Did not understand how to use it.
For those who are unfamiliar with their phone... There are usually three buttons on the face of a phone. BACK, HOME, and MENU. Usually HOME is center. BACK is right side. MENU is left. LONG HOLDING THE MENU BUTTON BRINGS UP THE MENU IN ALMOST ALL APPS THAT EXIST TODAY. Gah!
Missing a pretty basic function.
Wiki says, "Press menu button," but there IS no menu button. Just 4 tabs: Projects, Tasks, Transfers, and Messages. No menu button. No dots, no hamburger menu, nothing.
The application just reads "not connected" with 4 blank tabs. No menu, no instruction, nothing to click or to do. Just all blank. Uninstalled immediately.
Under 4.4, this worked on my LG G3 and Asus MeMO Pad 7. Now that both devices are 5.x, neither works (network connection unavailable errors). Oddly, the devices can ping and be pinged without issue, so there is no network problem.
Keeps claiming there is no network connection when there quite clearly is.
The Astronomy on Play Store, finally!
There is no way to configure the app on a device that lacks a menu button.
It does exactly what it's supposed to do. A simple way for the lazy to manage one or more BOINC clients, as long as remote confections are enabled in the clients.
I have two boinc clients that I can connect to from my PC on the same network but Androboinc cannot connect to either of them.
Not even a help file ¡¡¡¡¡¡
Super. A remote control while on the couch. Let's me peeking on my clients. Easy to use.
I've been wanting this type of app for a long time.
Exactly what it says on the tin
Constant force close on cliq xt I'll gladly rerate it when there is an update. After update still force closing on cliq xt.
Uzitocna aplikacia,zajtra to testnem:) G1 1.6
Excellent! Would be nice to have >60s auto refresh.
Woohoo!
Läuft super auf MINIX NEO X5 !!!
feature packed boinc-gui running from a mobile
Sad to see this app isn't working well for everyone, but I found it very easy to use and it's a great app to check your crunching status.
I use this mainly to suspend and resume a headless server without having to unlock my main workstation.
I crunch all day. I dont see a point in this program unless you just dont want to get off the couch it has to be set up to every single host individually. You will be way better off just logging into your boinc bam account on your phone if you want to make changes or get info an how your bots are doing thanks for the effort but i dont see the point perhaps if you could make it sync with a bamstats account it might be useful. Anyone looking to control or monitor the crunches head to google search boinc bam
Don't waste your time. Instructions make no sense, the PC versionis so much better. After looking at the wiki this guy made for it I've concluded that the most effective means of dealing with this app is to uninstall and wait till they have compiled together at least a small list of servers. This is a problem this developer will never fix. I can promise that. I have checked back on this app periodically the last year.
Easy to set up, compact display with all info. Fast and useful for checking progress. I find the most important functions are all available.
Great way to monitor and manage multiple BOINC instances from wherever! Note that if you want to connect to a home computer through a router, you'll need to set up port forwarding rules. I also realized that you'll usually need two entries per host: a local IP for when you are at home on WiFi, and your port-forwarded public IP for when you are on 3G.
Works fine. Fairly easy to configure and use.
but the directions for setting it up causes the gpu to be disabled (on windows vista+)

Make it easy and user friendly guys. I have boinc on home pc but I went to sleep reading the wiki setup and uninstalled for android. 1or 2 clicks and simple pls
Doesn't say any where how to connect client and host. I would use this but it just doesn't work.
I can't get this to work. The networking setup is too complicated and needs to be simplified some.
Works like a charm after setting up port forwarding on my router.
Please make this app more user friendly for the not THAT technical people! Do we all have to be semi-coders to get this? A simple click should suffice to start sharing your flops to any project you like. I don't want to look up host names and port keys...
Good app. Remember to follow BOINC instructions to enable remote access first.
Simple and perfect. Works well!!!
SG II Can't connect to anything over wifi Looked online to see how it should work on Boinc Help Nothing found uninstalled
Just follow the instructions in the wiki

Doesn't work. Connection attempt is rejected. Tcpdump suggests that it sends an empty password.
