Profesionalna vsakoletna prireditev, ki združuje zaposlene na področju gostinstva in turizma - z namenom, da se pomerijo v svojih strokovnih znanjih in spretnostih na 32 tekmovanjih področja dela: hotelirstva, strežbe in kuharstva.
Omogoča predstavitev izobraževalnih institucij na katerih se dijaki in študentje pomerijo v svojih tekmovalnih kategorijah. Poseben segment pa je komercialni del prireditve, kjer se ponudniki opreme, živil in artiklov s svojimi novitetami predstavijo obiskovalcem in tekmovalcem. Prireditev pa svojo težo dodaja tudi s strokovnimi delavnicami in posveti. Celotna prireditev povezuje akterje na področju turizma in gostinstva, kjer se srečujejo pristojne inštitucije z namenom izmenjave izkušenj, dobrih praks in prikazom dosežkov. Nenazadnje pa skušajo tudi opozoriti na morebitne probleme s katerimi se srečujejo pri svojem delovanju, katere naslovijo na pristojna ministrstva.
