Sledljivost pomeni spremljanje blagovnih in informacijskih tokov o kakovosti hrane in krme v celotni proizvodni verigi od njive do mize. Sistem sledljivosti mora v vsakem členu proizvodne verige omogočati identifikacijo določene prepovedane sestavine hrane ali krme in jih umakniti iz proizvodnje ali prodaje. Traceability means the monitoring of trade and information flows on the quality of food and feed throughout the production chain from field to table. The traceability system must in any article of the production chain to enable the identification of certain prohibited food ingredients or feed them to withdraw from the production or sale.
