Ship Mate - Norwegian Cruises

What happened to the Norwegian Pearl? It's not available anymore. This app is pretty decent. I check it all the time when I have a cruise scheduled.

2nd app from NCL that is pure garbage. AT LEAST THE CRUISE IS 5 STAR

A lot of features don't work. No shoe excursions, and when you post the count down to Facebook, it's blank.

To summarize in one word: Buggy. Also, chat is not just for your cruise, but seems to be for the port destination...

U must sign in to do anything... you should alow the view of the cams in every deck to explore the ship..no old pics! It s 21st century please!

Sadly no use to me as getaway is not showing.

This app is terrible. Nothing about my ship that is leaving in 8 days. You will never get back the minute of your life wasted taking time to download it. Save yourself the frustration.

If you haven't cruised before you got to try it once to love it.

This app gives you all the Information you need to know about the ship before you even get on board.

Leaving in a week and no info. Disappointed.

When is the new Escape going to be added?

App does not have all the ships on it. When you try the Getaway it does nothing.

I am going on the getaway ship and thus app does not have it... what a waste!

"The app will also work while on board - no Internet required. " This statement implies the app works before you get on-board. The claims about the app SHIPMATE that it works is not true according Norwegian Cruise Line.

Love it when it is working, but stops loading and running to much!!, Gets to be very aggravating !!, Only works half the time.

App doesn't work on Samsung galaxy 7.

Daily itinerary section ALWAYS crashes.

It seems they have iOS coders trying to port to android instead of Android developers. Numerous features don't work. On FB they even mention how they wish Android was more like iOS, indicating a lack of core competency in the Android OS.

Well the breakaway is on now but can't access deck plans and itinerary is backwards from NCL.

Every time I unlock my phone I got a pop up telling me this app has forced close. I am removing app. Had high hopes!

I have an account and can't sign or reset my password! I'll just use a countdown widget from now on and a pdf deck plan right from NCL.

Good app

Emailed the devs more than 2 months ago about the lack of Getaway in the app, and still nothing. The supposed "big update for Android" has been promised for even longer. This is absolutely terrible app management and development, just a joke at this point. I'm uninstalling, and I'd suggest any newcomers avoid this app altogether. Glad I didn't pay for the app, that's for sure. Fail. (btw everyone else waiting for Getaway should do the right thing and down vote the app until it is added).

Would LOVE the ability to see which cabins are not yet booked.
