It was fantastic with my Samsung Galaxy Note II Lte but when I upgraded HTC one M8 then it doesn't work at all. I don't know why there is no option appeared to send 'contact' details to someone. Otherwise I would give 5 *.

Really My purpose is served now. All these days I was very disappointed that I couldn't share contact via SMS text messages, which proves handy always. Thanks to providers

So conceptually you have a great idea here. Unfortunately on Kitkat the fonts are all messed up and it showed the wrong name (my sister) when I tried to share my dad's information. They have the same home phone but that's not how the app should be keyed. It also doesn't work with the default text app that is selected. Lastly, how do I uninstall this app. Its not listed in the list of applications which is great if the app worked as it should but since it doesn't now I can't figure out how to get it off my phone. Any help is appreciated.

I just can not understand, why this is not a basic feature in Android! Shame on Google! This app just does what it promises - tbh. sometimes got fooled by the international (UTF8) contacts, and vcard support would be really nice - this is not promised anyway, so the 5 star is real!

T70%
by T####:

I take it back. It DOES work on Gingerbread. I might have installed it wrong the first time. 5 stars for this. :)

T70%
by T####:

This used to work good. But for some reason now, it crashes every time I choose the text message option.

Causes message app to crash Nexus 5, maybe does not know how to open hangouts. Worked perfectly on Jellybean Nexus 4. Rating will be revised upon update.

Doesn't work on Droid Incredible. Won't launch. Awful app. In contact there is no option to share. For those who say it works, do u have Droid Incred?

T70%
by T####:

This app gives us something that really should be built into Android in the first place. Thanks for catching up feature that fell through the cracks!

T70%
by T####:

This might be excellent app. If I just could figure out how to use it. Somekinda little guide could erase that problem alltogether. Or whatever...

Thank you!!!! For some reason my new Moto X did not have the ability to text contact info. This app works perfect.

This works so well. Why oh why was it not included as a standard feature of android? Shame on you Google!! Good work dev..thanks.

Installs super quick and allows to share name and number easily. Using Samsung Google Nexus S which doesn't have this basic feature. Thanks!

T70%

Not sure why Android left it out, but you have filled in a very useful missing link. Love the minimal permissions!

Great app -Droid 1 - Protip: doesnt open like an app, its an addon to the android "Share" option. For ppl questioning.

Used to work great on Moto X, but now crashes with KitKat update. This is now useless without an update.

Its a shame that stock messaging app doesn't come with such simple functionality.

T70%
by T####:

Been using it since 2011 but now it just shows a blank screen for 10-20sec before the item selection appears

Y70%

This app really seamless. You wont even realize when it integrates to you 'share' contact menu. Keep it up.

The simplest and the best way to send contacts in text format via sms. It's best option is to select the fields u want to share. Has been using this for years. Among the must have apps for me. Only crib - It only supports the default SMS app (preinstalled on phone) - would be lovely if it also supports Google SMS app 'messenger'.

Was a very good app as long as my xperia zr was a jellybean. Since the upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 this app has stopped working citing "/storage/emulated/0/System/PIM/send_contacts.vcf. open failed: EACCES (permission denied)". I have rooted my phone and enabled write permission on SD card, bit it still shows the same error. Devs, please take care of its compatibility

Great on stock Android. Sgs2 has this feature though so I no longer need it.

Am I the only one who thinks these kind of features should be built into the os. Come on google. Are you that stupid?

U70%
by U####:

Now I am able to share contacts. Only those contacts can be shared which have 0 or country code before the number. Which contacts have only 10 digit number, can't be shared. So if you want to share those contacts, edit the contact by putting country code (+91 for India) before the number and then you can share.

Does not work on my htc one. No option shown in contacts to share via text message. Worked fine on my S3 and HTC legend before this.

U70%

I was not able to share contact through sms with my new Xperia Z. Only mms was possible. With this small add on, I can now share contact through messaging by text. Good

U70%

Moto droid. In order to use, u have to go to: contacts, select the person u want, hit the menu/options button, then choose share. Works great

It's crazy that this app is needed, but I'm glad it's available.

Nice work genius now i dont have to spend for an mms every time i send a v-card

Exactly what I wanted.should ideally have been a default application in android phone.too good!

G70%
by G####:

I simply cannot understand why this functionality isn't baked into the OS from the start. Seems like a big oversight. So we're lucky to have this app to fill the gap.

U70%

Neat little app, works perfectly, seamless integration. Would be 6 stars if it could also share mulitple contacts at once from within the multi-select contacts menu. One at a time will do. This should be a standard feature of Android, even my ancient green screen brick could do this. Smart? Phones.

F70%
by F####:

Perfect. Does exactly what it says - something that should have been part of Android anyway. Also no icon to clutter up App drawer or home screen.

Z70%

Worked great until Android 4.0, now 8 months later, the still doesn't work!

After installing, I could not find the app anywhere on my Nexus 7 tablet. Apparently it doesn't work with Jelly Bean. Is Froyo the only operating system it works on?
