For usual alarms I'm using the app AlarmDroid - but it simply takes too much time when you quickly need to set an alarm or just need a basic reminder. For that you can use EasyPeasy: Simple, fast, reliable. Thx 4 developing!!!

Kept pressing shut down but the alarm wouldn't stop. Had to pull battery. Restarted and alarm still going - uninstalled.

I use same alarm time every day, needs to retain time when unset by user. Will uninstall as wading through stock alarm takes less time.

Easy, true, but too quiet on maximum volume and way too easy to hit the wrong button and start up two. Then you can't turn it off just through the app

It'd be great if this didn't keep force closing randomly during regular use if the phone. However, this could be something to do with my custom rom.

Its very easy but I cant assign ringtone I want. Big drawback. It wud be best if this issue is fixed.
