La trama si svolge a Los Angeles e sulla famiglia Forrester, molto influente nel campo della moda e sulle relazioni amorose di ogni singolo membro. Epica è la storia d’amore tormentata e complicata tra Brooke Logan (Katerine Kelly Lang) e Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss). In Italia, Beautiful è arrivato su Rai 2 nel 1990 per poi passare su Rete 4 e Canale 5 quattro anni dopo.
