Camera Mod for Xperia PLAY

This feature makes perfect sense on the Xperia Play, and it works on mine without any problems. Plus it's free without ads or pesky begging by the Dev. Excellent app!

Makes camera usage much more easier! Just installed this one and killed the original app with TitBckup (i found two camera icons quite annoying :-D ) Works like a charm!

After using it on a text I found out the L and R work that way. However if you make it work using the app by itself it would be a 5 star app.

Great app!!! Only complaint is the "back" key doesn't work after focusing. Please fix this, this app deserves 5 stars!

Hello this app is amasing but there is a couple of things all xperia play fans would like.1 The abillity to change quality on pictures.(240p-1080i) . 2. PHONE SNAPSHOTS WOULD BE FREAKKIN AWSONE. 3 This is just something of thought for music a new type of base for the music so if you hit the app and it would show all the albums and the one with no cover has The droid thing.3 This is another try fixing the fact that it always foreclose problematic. GREAT app. But with the 2.3.4 Verizon update. This is a redundant piece of software. You did wonders for us XP owners. Thanks aa million.

Doesn't do much but the most simple thing that the phone should have had built in. Every pic on my phone has been taken using this app. Simple, but perfect.

Worked perfectly first time but hasn't worked again since, whether I launch from the camera or from the app. Confused??

Even if I have a Galaxy Ace this camera is much better than the stock one from Samsung, It says it is a mod but it works like a normal camera app. Suports my camera's maximum resolution (5mp), geotag, video capture at maximum resolution 640x480 of my phone and it supports accelerometer.

Manual control is better. My fingers do not twist together any more. I did not find that the program improved photo's quality.

I was using z ultra with fvcked up camera, it's super noisy and the photos looks like a crayon-drawn pict.. Ive messing up with the settings but it didn't really help, at some points that I thought it was hardware problem, but when I try this app it's get much better result.. Really never thought of it, thank you man

I updated my Xperia V just recently (I know it's too late) and now the stock camera suddenly crashes after a few seconds/minutes. So I downloaded this app and the camera for photo mode works impressive but if I change it into video mode the app suddenly crash and a message pops out, "unfortunately, camera mod has stopped". This means I can never use the video mode. Other from this, I hope for the next update of this app I can auto focus before hand since right now it only focuses after I click the shutter.

Have an problem issue in my phone sony xperia z3 , the camera is not available at all times? It says ERROR Camera is not available. Ive been searching answers for weeks in google nothing happens , i hope that you can help us xperia users to fix this problem ?

This app has the best interface and button allocation. But I can only configure resolution to 3mg (have 8mg camera) and VGA. The thing maybe video is not working but could be because of my ROM

Fantastic, solves the biggest issue with smartphone cameras. It feels like a normal camera now. Somewhat unreliable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's free and it adds arguably the most needed function to the phone. Thank you.

Love this app. Thought at first it was a separate camera app but it does update the stock camera. Love the focus button and shutter buttons being on the L and R buttons! Genius and Sony should hang heads in shame that this wasn't included already!

Please people using phones other than Xperia Play stop leaving negative comments, this app is not for u guys. I have been always wondering since I got my Xperia play, why does it not allow the use of R button to take photos. Wonderful job Sebastian. I have rooted my phone and deleted the stock camera app already.

U're a godsend!.. Really LOVE u 4 dis man... Like Matthew sez.. Should hav been done frm stock. For all other users who hav comments, complaints, suggestions, etc.. dat dont own an Xperia play, dis is a 'CAMERA MOD' made 4 XPERIA PLAY. Its just the stock camera with modified button controls.

After fixing my flex cable and restarting a wiped phone, this is the first app I install. Dunno why Sony Ericsson didn't do it in the first place. Play user must have #1

I think this is a great app... Love using the solder button for the camera. Is there anyway you can get rid of the shutter sound? Its especially annoying on this phone

App crashes whenever I am turning on video mode for Sony Xperia c3.. Else all functions are good.. Once you will fix that issue then I will give 5 stars for this app..

I like this app very much.It has good quality of pics and also video but one thing terribly needed and thats zoom on video.Pls fix that.

I just would like to c just once a video n camera with flash...I set everything it seems to grasp this concept but either the video has flash n not the camera or vice versa...IS IT SO HARD TO ASK FOR? HONEY GOOGLE TELL ME WHY?

Very handy mod. Agree with the vendor - if you want all the gizmos then go buy a Nikon!

I am 1st use camera mod for xprea play.i am be really really happy.verry soft and easy .i like this apps. Xprea play verry good apps now i am able to ZOOM in my camera .i love you.

Can take a better picture and video in low light situation,although the picture size is small but when zoom in it got a lot of details.Natural,sharp and vivid.

This apps is best that used to mms with about 30 seconds and unlimited videos. Thank you! I need to mms with about 45 seconds please new update next!

Wait got it something made install externally but my phone doest have the feature to install on sd installed it really good but can only take square pictures Xperia M

Its great having to press the r button to get easier photos but the I don't understand the L button that well

Alot easier 2 take photoz now but wud have been super if had zoom ability&cud save on SD card! Then eazy 5*s at the moment only 4*s pls sort zoom

Installed it on my Xperia neo v and the pic quality is much better than stock cam.Over image compression issue is also removed in this application.

This would be perfect if you could zoom on it! Its already amazing but it would be awesome if you added a zoom in and zoom out feature!

A cool idea to use the physical shoulder buttons as a shutter button. Much easier to take self pics. Odd how the phone didnt come with that.

Does not autofocus in video mode especially when taking videos of very near objects.
