Room Display 3: Book a Meeting for Android
Awesome, everyone had been impressed
To expensive.
This app has been utilsed at our workplace and is very effective when set up. Please keep up the development of these great free apps!!
Why will this not deactivate when I press the deactivate button ... app was installed on tablet in error.
What a great application. We have set this up across our meeting rooms and have extremely positive feedback from all our staff who use them. the integration to exchange is superb and the application is very stable. We have had a a custom ceiling mount made for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and the charging cable fits inside the mounting pole for a professional install. We have had exceptional response from the developer and the ongoing updates have added to the look and functionality of room display overall. Highly recommended!
It displays meetings and wasn't hard to set up but it has problems with the error messages below. This message is on the screen almost constantly: "Connection Error with Exchange: Target host must not be null, or set in parameters. scheme=null, host=null,path=/owa/" Booking meeting from display does not work. it gives an error message
- The application is visually quite bad for an app in 2014. - Response time is very slow (this is certainly not related to exchange etc), takes about 2 minutes to schedule a meeting. - Crashed twice in 4 hours of usage - Why not 1 star: It does what it says it does, but quite inefficiently. Edit: Thanks for GoGet for their response. This product is still one of the best in its category (I tested almost all) and we will use this app even though I am not happy about the performance (just takes a lot of time to respond) and visuals. I have stopped testing for now it so I'm not sure if it still keeps crashing. I am sure there will be improvements in performance and visuals soon enough.
After much time researching an inexpensive scheduling app that works with MS Exchange we stumbled upon Room Display 3. By far the least expensive option, Room Display has far exceed our expectations. We use it on Samsung Galaxy Tab 3s, mounted beside our conference rooms. Very little maintenance is required once configured. Visitors often comment and inquire about the implementation; Several have put it into place in their offices. Fantastic product!

No help to get it set up

Would be really helpful if users of room display could not only choose a custom time span but also a custom date for future scheduling. Has this been thought of? Any plans to include it in an upcoming update? Great work!

I'm seriously looking at this product for my company, BUT.... I sent many emails throught the submittion form to try and gain some clarity of it license pricing. None were responded to. It looked to be a great product and the review for the Room Display 2 showed a similar review. My company has around 200 confrence rooms worldwide and this program would a huge bonus to our users, I hate to move over an iOS platform, but atleast those developers are responding back. If you don't mind the platform change, I would check out EventBoard for iPad. It doesn't support EWS but it looks nicer and the developer responds quicker.
Have installed a paid version on one device for testing purposes. So far, so good. Still doesn't launch on power-up whether app was running before shutdown or not. This isn't a major deal but would be nice. I imagine this will be a always powered on unit.
Installing the paid version on 26 conference rooms. Has been a hit with employees.
Good job, please continue this project. I will be telling people about this one. I would love to see who booked the meeting and who is attending.
not free your require spending allot of money if you wish to use this, should be made clear in description....

If your tablet dies and you need to load this onto another one, they may charge $95, yes you read that right, NINETY FIVE DOLLARS, to reactivate the license. I understand trying to cut down on license abuse, but that seems extreme to me.
