About CS-Lite
Do you sometimes end up in situations where you are about to use your phone, but find that it does not have enough (or any) power left?
If that is the case then CS-Lite is the app you want for avoiding it.
The novel functionality of this utility app is that you tell the app about time periods that are convenient for you to charge the phone, then the app will alert you to start charging at the latest convenient period before the battery goes empty.
You can e. g. tell it that Monday through Friday between 20.00 and 22.00 suits you (e.g. if you are normally at home that time), and you will be reminded slightly after 20.00 the day when the battery will not last until the same time the next day.
The app, which runs as a background service, wakes up once an hour. It then looks at the battery level, and your preferred charging time periods. From this it then calculates which it thinks is the last such time period before the battery goes empty, and when this time period occurs, it starts to alert you that you need to charge the battery. It will generate a new notification every ten minutes during this period, unless you start to charge, or disable the alarm.
It also saves the battery levels, so it learns about your battery consumption pattern, and uses that to make an educated guess on when the battery runs empty. If the battery runs empty, or you reboot your phone, the app will reinstall automatically and continue its service.
A detailed usage description is available from within the app, and you also find this on the developer home page:

CS-Lite is the free version of Charging Servant. It has the limitation that time periods can only be defined for the weekday period Monday through Friday. To be able to define different time periods for different weekdays, upgrade to the full version Charging Servant.
Follow the advices of CS-Lite/Charging Servant, and your phone battery will never run empty again!
