Wear Quick SMS for Android
Start by opening the app on your phone and select the contacts you want to be able to send to.
The go to the message tab and select and create the messages that you want to be able to send.
That's all for setup.
Now launch the app on your Android Wear devices and send some SMS messages!
Note:
- The SMS messages will be sent from your phone to the numbers of your contact.
- This is a early version of the app, everything might not work perfectly. Please send me an e-mail if you are having any problems.
Just what I was looking for. It's convenient and runs smoothly. Good job.
"Nexus6 connected with ZenWatch" its working really good so im good here!!
This is great for all of the quick texts that I send my wife and friends, but I wish I could reorder and edit quick texts that I've added. I like that I can use it on my watch! (Moto 360)
Only negative is that the settings don't get saved. If you switch phones you have to re-input everything.
Works like you would expect. Reordering of contacts and messages would help. Also, support for round watch faces.
Its force closing if i dont slide my finger down immedietlt after opening app. If its fixed i can give 5.
Exactly what i wanted, needs round watch support. Fix or i will release one ;)
Samsung Note II running Android version 4.3 and paired with my Sony Smartwatch 3. Thanks so much!
Doesn't fit well on screen of moto 360
Using it on my Samsung gear live, it's simple and just what I was looking for. But it crashes often, about half the time I use it... And sometimes has really slow responsiveness
"Nexus6 connected with ZenWatch" its working really good so im good here!!
Только за идею пять звёзд. Но далее не смог добавить ни одного контакта. Сразу крашится.
Screen doesn't fit properly.
Love it
Would like to be able to change the order of responses and contacts please. Also, would be nice if the texts you send showed up in hangouts.
It works ok. It seems to need more testing and work for circular watches such as the moto 360 and maybe Lg watch R.
Please insert the option to reorder the messages. And on Moto 360, only able to see part of the buttons Yes/No.
Exactly what I was looking for. I can very quickly with a few clicks send frequent messages to frequent contacts. Unlike other reviewers, I don't want all my contacts because that would be slower to search and scroll so I don't mind entering a few important and frequent contacts.
Love the app when it works, which is increasingly rare.
Works good so far, but desperately needs some basic management features like being able to sort and edit Contacts and Messages.
Force closes on watch right away, this is such a good idea, I wish it worked
Now it forces quit every single time I try to open it on my Moto 360. Please fix..I really liked this app when it worked!
First, i think the app itself is a great idea and I use it a lot. But please optimize for the Moto360. I can barely see the YES/NO buttons (this will get it to be a 5 star review) Also, any chance of adding an option to record a message using the microphone? This way, I can quickly identify who i want to send a message to, but still have the freedom to record something different.
Great app. Sometimes you don't want or can't talk to your watch. This allows you to save contacts and send them saved pre written personalized messages you choose.. Works perfectly on my moto 360
I love being able to reply to messages using my voice, but sometimes you really can't do that (like in meetings). So this is going to be very handy in those situations. Just launch the app, and send a canned response. One thing I would love to see is Moto 360 (round) support. The "Yes" and "No" buttons are cut off. I think one really neat solution would be to remove the "Yes" and "No" buttons altogether and replace it with a cancel button (placed in the middle of the screen). So if you didn't tap the cancel button in a certain amount of time, it would send the message. This would have the added benefit of removing one required tap. So instead of having to tap the contact, tap the message, then tap "Yes". You'd only have 2 taps (contact and message).
Force closes on watch every time I try to open it. Moto 360
Works as per design.. Only issue I have is some of my contact images don't show up in the app or on the watch..
Bummer... Please fix. Only app I found so far that allows you to create a list of contacts just for wear sms
This is the one I have been waiting for! Thank you for such an app. Now, wish list: 1) Option to disable confirmation to send the message. While driving minimal clicks will make it more easier and safer. [This alone will earn my 5 star :)] 2) If the picture is selected, it should go to message. Now you need to select the name against the picture. Need to revise my review: It was great while worked. Next day it stopped with the dreaded "Unfortunately ... stopped" message. Either Google Wear OS or this app to blame for the issue.
I added 2 contacts and 2 messages, but I cannot find "button" or something else to send message to contact.
Please optimize for the moto 360!!!
Its force closing if i dont slide my finger down immedietlt after opening app. If its fixed i can give 5.
It works and is very simple, too simple. It is missing some basic features like: changing the order of contacts and messages, editing messages, and grouping contacts.
Could you please change the design to be easier on circular devices? I know what it might say when prompted at bottom but it's cutoff.
Crashed on Moto360 when you try to open it.
Also only displays the avatars for the first and last contacts
The best. Works great with moto 360
This is exactly what I wanted but I cant rate it above a 1 star until it is fixed. Every time I try and open it instantly crashes. Using Moto 360 and Nexus 5 latest version of both OS.
The text fields seem to run wild and get cut off and the contact page has large gaps, but the app works and is an excellent idea for quick SMS through AW

Bit buggy and UI could do with a brush up, has great potential.
